Everything about political liberalism or today’s neoliberalism is capitalistic, they’re not even safe gate keepers of socialism either. To keep it short and simple, liberals are not real leftists whatsoever. Why they’re referred to as being politically left is simply beyond me. The difference between a liberal and conservative is very miniscule.
.
Yea, because Liberals are worse than Leftists.
The difference between a liberal and conservative is not minuscule, but that maybe dependent on where you live.
The authentic political left has been dead. It was swallowed and co-opted by neoliberal capitalism. Real leftists went underground or just died off. Today’s liberals are drones worshipping the State and Glow-ball-ism. Capitalist materialist commodity fetishist whores for more and more Muh Authoritay. So long as it lies to them about being “benevolent caring for transgenders and gays” or whatever platitudes fit most the sociocultural moment’s key propagandas.
It has always only about whether you strive for power and dominion, or whether you serve truth, unity, beauty and compassion. All other divisions are distractions.
“Power and dominion” is what I feel like people are trying to push when they go out in public with no shirts on, wearing pussy hats.
…and such like.
In my experience the terms “leftist”, “leftie”, “liberal”, “marxist”. etc. are more often terms of abuse by idiot MAGA followers who are so uneducated that they would not know the difference.
People rarely self identify using these terms and are often such insults by confused people looking the thrash out at people they have not taken the trouble to understand.
All these terms are little more than phantoms in your own head. No one identifies by these terms, or only rarely
In the U.S. the difference between liberals and conservatives are very miniscule, the only differences are trivial cultural platitudes, both are economic capitalists to their core constantly exploiting the working classes. When I think of the left I think of economic socialists or communists, not a bunch of duplicitous hypocritical neoliberals.
The American left died under Reaganomics, I grew up in childhood shortly afterwards within the 1990s, later on the neoliberals in the mid 2000s coopted the left fashioning it for themselves under a plethora of idiotic movements like BLM, Believe Women, and all kinds of divisive crap all the while completely ignoring all the economic issues which was the plan on their part all along, getting people too distracted ignoring our crumbling economic system all around us.
Would you call yourself a racist and misogynist?
If not - why idiotic?
Do you think that ethnic minorities and women have a fair chance, or do you thin they are held back by white male supremacists?
I see such things as being heavily divisive, reactionary, and distracting away from class consciousness. Economic class consciousness is the root of most problems.
I would argue that the neoliberal capitalists have focused on such things solely the last four decades in order to distract the general population away from the many problems of economic class consciousness choosing to fight each other instead on the basis of race, sex, and gender.
In a purely socialist economy large scale foreign immigration or open borders is entirely unnecessary, only the capitalists want that to intentionally draw down the wages of the working class. So, in a way I support both economic socialism and nationalism for the working classes. Economic prosperity of the working class is the way of lessening many divisions that exist in the western world.

You seem very concerned about such things, like that is your only concern in the world. Explain that mindset to me.
Is this directed at a particular person?
Id so please use the quote function.
I can answer this if you are more clear. What do you mean “such things”?
What do you think it my “only concern”?
What “mindset”?
This actually seems true to me. People identify with their supposed economic class-group and tend to value and self-value through that lens. This causes distortions of valuing and of estimating value with regard to many things, including other people, other possible situations of economic relevance, and ideas themselves. The very potential of our future existences are curbed and curtailed because of these distortions, and in so far as the distortions can be traced back to economic class allegiance or a kind of economic group solidarity against the others, what you say makes a lot of sense.
But is a(n economically) classless society really possible? I doubt it. The idea is a good one in theory, as if everyone in an entire society could be part of the same economic/SES class. Regardless if your neighbor makes a bit more or less than you, everyone is chipping in and feels part of the same group. All needs are met, and there still exist a natural incentive and hierarchy of merit to spur achievement and innovation, always trying to work hard and do better, become more secure.
But I see a diminishing returns of meritocratic natural incentive-force with regard to sufficiently increasing economic situational equality such that everyone could in theory regard themselves and all others as part of the same one single economic class. Enough differences in income, wealth, status, would end up pushing into existence new sub-classes within the one single class and eventually entirely separate economic classes would likely arise again. Also remember that humans are tribal, savage and instinctual animals and we are also very highly group selected in evolutionary terms. We have a mechanism in our brain that tracks our social status, and the higher our social status is the more dopamine production occurs in our brain, causing us to be less stressed on a regular basis. That’s just one example.
Because of these facts and the diminishing returns I mentioned above, I have serious doubts that an economically classless society could ever exist or function for more than a very short period of time.
Not even to mention the nature of human greed, lust for power, and bureaucratic-administrative-legalistic organization i.e. government. Would a purely communistic society have no leaders, no key decision-makers? Then how could it possibly function efficiently and effectively enough to survive in a harsh world? Yet even if we capped the income of everyone at the same level, assuming this wouldn’t destroy meritocracy and natural incentive for work-effort which it most certainly would, at least in the longer term and also seriously upsetting key division of labor which is a critical component of humanity being a highly group selected species… there are other forms of power than mere income. The leaders implicitly have more power than non-leaders, whether they earn more money or not, whether they abuse that power or not. And this differential in power already looks like a class division, and such a class division that looks to me also to be only a thin edge away from becoming economically viable if, in any particular real-world situation and context, it hasn’t already.
How does one get rid of racism or ethnocentrism? Neoliberals will say by open borders and abolishing ethno nation states worldwide to where through globalism we all live in a global economic zone presumably under one singular global leadership to where citizenship worldwide is exchanged for global consumerism under global economic capitalism. Under this system there is no man, woman, race, or ethnicity, just a bunch of exploited people (consumers) from the working class through a hyper materialistic techno transhumanism that are replaced interchangeably everywhere. The idea that if we transplant one billion Chinese into Africa, one billion Africans into China, one billion Middle Easterners into South America, one billion South Americans into the Middle East, one billion Asians into Europe, and so on worldwide we can finally achieve a multiracial global harmonious social utopia, of course the more you seriously think about this multiracial idealism with all the consequential ramifications it encompasses the more absurd or naive it comes across. And how do we solve misogyny along with the destruction of the mythical male patriarchy? Allow male to female transgenders into biological female public bathrooms? I am always interested into the peculiar neoliberal responses to such things, I hope you can explain your views more thoroughly to me.
Libtards don’t have answers. They have emotions and talking points. That’s it.
Whereas folks like you are nothing but trigger-happy button pushers happy to oblige?
I disagree it’s about Economics.
If you give a bum or crackhead $100,000.00, they’re going to burn through it on drugs and buying useless shit, and then crashing-out. Poor people don’t have healthy enough minds to make good decisions about finance. That’s much of the reason they’re poor in the first place.
Another powerful factor is the poor class’s ability to be manipulated by those above. That’s mental weakness. “A fool is easily parted his money.” The poor class is defined by: lack of intellect, mental disease, easily manipulated, and because of all these, they are forced out and excluded by the middle and upper classes.
They are preyed-upon, and have no Defender. Like orphaned and unwanted children on the street.
The wealthy do better by hoarding excess & buying necessities like yachts?
How many spoiled wealthy brats burn out without consequence because they are saved by their wealthy families?
Poor folks aren’t on the streets because the wealthy don’t make the same mistakes… the wealthy are housed because they can afford good lawyers/liars.
