Since the industrial revolution 200 yrs ago a cancer has grown which has
been acepted as a norm. Materialism, consumerism, and deception as to its benefits has been adopted as capitalism. Now it seems, just as communism collapsed, so is capitalism doombed. What ever happened to commen sense? What is next?
The promises of technology are at best ambiguise, science is bumbling on, religion is in disaray. What say you?
Hopefully capatalism will eventually fail. Capatalism serves only the few and not the masses if we are to have any hope of a decent future as a race then this notion can not last long. Although i dont think that its is a relatively new idea though it just is more prominent nowadays due to the global economy. There were always poor and rich and if the rich didnt have the poor how would they show themselves to be rich (in terms of money and posessions and not rich of mind or character)
David Fukiyama wrote that the present western liberal capital system is “the end of history”, like the final stage in something we’ve been working towards.
I hope not, and I don’t believe it. It doesn’t even appear particularly sustainable
The complex ambiguities that outnumber sane reality is like a subsistent rich human.
Capitalism, Communism… and a lot more to come are human interventions to better humanity whereas the very betterment is an illusion where humanity has crafted a way to animalism.
…that which suffice physical necessities but nothing for the psyche…
Its depressing to realize this fact and live with it…
