Light is unique

If we say light exists, and we know it does, then that means that it exists in darkness. Isn’t that unique? I’m reading Angels and Demons, in which antimatter is a subject. It says that if antimatter touches any matter annihilation occurs, which destroys both (I believe, I did not understand that part completely.)

First of all…do you know what you are talking about?

Yes, I am speaking of light being able to exist in its entirety and as a unique form.

I agree light is unique…and probably the key.As far back as you would like to go with matter saying this came from that, that came from this etc,you eventually come to a point where something…some energy, has to have always existed to create what we know.Matter.This energy goes by many names…all of which have sparked conflict over who named it right.

Is it not enough to understand that it just is? Is that not incredible enough?
Call it what you will…but leave me out of the ensuing wars. “I am the light and the way” said the lord.

“And the light which coming from the sun and in the moon, and in the fire,Know that light to be mine”(brahma).

O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, tell me of the first thing Allah created before all things." He said: “O Jabir, the first thing Allah created was the light of your Prophet from His light, and that light remained (lit. “turned”) in the midst of His Power for as long as He wished, and there was not, at that time, a Tablet or a Pen or a Paradise or a Fire or an angel or a heaven or an earth. And when Allah wished to create creation, he divided that Light into four parts and from the first made the Pen, from the second the Tablet, from the third the Throne, [and from the fourth everything else].”

“But he is not called by the name that his father gave him. He is called the Buddha. This name means “the man with a light.” But the Light that Buddha had was no ordinary light such as the light of a lamp. His Light was for the heart and for the mind. His Light is not the kind that eyes can see. Nor is his Light the kind that burns the fingers.”

"Buddha’s Light you can feel only with your heart when you know you are at peace with yourself. Buddha’s Light is the Light of Truth. "

Also imagine this…that darkness and void are not truly nothing…but a complex interweaving of dense waves that interact with light as a knife does butter.

Yes…there is a lot more to light than illumination…how much more?..well we’re working on it!

Light is everything. Light is more than what the typical person thinks light is. A dead body dissipates in a form of light, actually leaving the casket as part of light’s cycle.
It is not from dust to dust, it is from light to light.

Agreed in premise.Finding the mechanism for this will be very very interesting…Surely light, and the energy of which I spoke in my previos post, is the place where science and religion will be united in one blinding epiphany. It already should be…but both sides seem to refuse to see the obvious.

It has already been done. brunardot.com for starters…

Your analogy is not valid.
