Little parts of England

This site offers a suite of wonderful photos of London, Oxford, Cambridge and surroundings, both in black and white and in sepia.

I very much enjoy the pictures. The person who took them has no studies related to photographic art, but does a great job.

The London series features photos of mostly historical monuments, but also includes a few pictures taken in parks. All of them inspire a monumental tranquility and inertness, as if time and the corrosive action of man were absent.

Same goes for Cambridge and Oxford. Rarely do people occur. Visible are only the signs of their existence and the edifices they construct.

England is definitely a target on my ‘travel through Europe on a motorcycle’ project now.

Loved these, M.S. =D>

my girlfriend just went to england for the first time last month, and she loved it. I’ll show her these pictures.

Englad is an interesting place. It intrigues me, politically and the arts that come out of there.

holy moley, what a talent - and he even shoots st. catharine’s college, my very own student home. M.S., if you do end up zooming (i assume that is the correct verb to pair with motorcycles) around either cam or london, let me know - i’ll be living in one or the other of them.

Sure will.
