Love is Slavery?

I think we need a definition of "slavery’.

How about slavery = love?

Oh it doesn’t seem to work. Maybe love = slavery is just as ridiculous?

how about agape love…

Slavery is an unwilling dispassionate bondage.
Love is a passion chosen bondage.

I’m not sure love is voluntary.
One is not compelled through the law, as you are with slavery , but you are under a compulsion nonetheless.

felix— are you giving me a warning…

Don’t confuse you with your self.

Are going to explain in the context of my remarks?

Love is not compulsion. It is built over time and knowledge. About the only love that is dictated by nature is paternal maternal. Or fate could dictate love of another.

Whatever it is, it is. Let me count the ways. It's a ladder, resting toward the branches, the foot leaning away from the root. Or a cave, from which the lover climbs, to the light which feeds the leaves? So that the fruit of it can be plucked?

That is simply not the case.
You do not choose who to love. Love needs no time, not knowledge, though it can die with the same.

That is very romantic but, hardly true.

In many cases, it can indeed be slavery, voulentary or invoulentary.

Romance involves being a fool for love.

LOL?

It can be both!

Love can also be a catchall phrase, meaning too many things to be singularly meaningful. This is why people get confused when the word is used, and sometimes purposefully as a tool of deception.

I can involve an element of choice.
But “love is not compulsion” is not only false, but is risibly false.

One who is engaged in this deception, perhaps without intention is the person who said;"
Love is enslavement. Love is slavery, of human beings and people. If you love somebody, then you want to enslave them, or, you already have.
Don’t argue with this, just accept it. No need to respond to this thread, except to agree with me. You know I’m right on the mark about this one. Let’s just keep this thread at 1 post count and 1000 views. Nobody else respond, just read, accept, nod at your computer, and mention this thread to your friends."

All of which is mind boggling confused and ridiculous given what you have said here.
