I am looking into finding a viable male to mix gene-pools with, and I have a few admirers who fit the bill (are over 30, want to settle down…)

Good! Wheew, I have seen women go off when that question pops up. It seems such a silly question to blow up at and a totally innocent one at that. Feminists are the worst for it. I generally end up just hanging back to watch the fireworks, it gets ridiculous.
