Malcolm X Was Better Than MLK Jr.

Honestly, I feel that a great deal of hate group involvement, of which is inundated with teen youth, is a mere matter of powerful demagogues exploiting existential angst and the need for a sense of belonging. Since so many social paradigms have long since been obliterated in the course of our long westward movement, skin-tone has ended being the only thing certain alienated kids feel they have an affinity for. Of course it’s complete bullshit, but it’s what they choose to believe in. My theory is if you have to believe in something because of the warm fuzzy feelings it brings to you then it isn’t worth believing in. That’s why I could never totally agreed with Kierkegaard.

I think people are beginning to realize that they have no ethereal, foundational basis by which to structure the Universe. Thus, they settle with basing such valuations on things like context, function, and nature. The problem comes about when people simply commit to one context without ever considering the others. They get stuck in a sort of comfort zone where they inoculate themselves with delusions. I personally prefer the sobering effects of nihilism.

There is one thing that pyscholigists have proven that works. Getting your potential enemies to see you as a human as a potential equal. If those that hate you for whatever petty stupid unsound reason can get a glimmer that you are not bad or a threat you can possibly work out a detente or a partnership or whatever it takes. Emotions tend to keep this from happening to often though. Both sides tend to have no control or little control over emotions in a tense situation. I have tried this once long ago, it worked. My car ran out of gas in a pretty tough neighborhood, and I had the wrong skin color and I was a lone female. I had two options either be afraid and a victim or take control and brazen it out with a group of guys that had spotted my prediciment. I was frightened the whole time but, I controlled it and kept them talking until one saw me as someone to help not hurt. It took just one and then he in turn convinced the others to help not hurt. They syphoned gas out of a couple of cars and got me on my way. I knew that even though they helped me then , if it ever happened again I would have no friends there. It was a short term detente. It took about 10 minutes of fast talking to get one guy to begin, it took another 10 to get that detente. The conversation was not easy, it was work.

In south Miss. between being distantly related, having to pull together in order to survive hard times, old hatred have no choice but to fade and die. People through circumstance are forced to see each other as humans as potential equals. Communication begins and relationships are developed.

It will take work, common grounds and common needs to realize MLK’s dream. Perhaps hate groups may even provide that to the general population. People as we said can only have a passion for so long. Perhaps the hate groups will prod the populations to a point where they turn on the hate groups a group. You can only stand to be poked for so long. There is no real difference in any hate group, they are all the same with the same goal, to be superior. So perhaps soon the general populations will wake up and attack the real enemies, not the manufactured ones.
