Don’t take the hook out of the fish’s mouth too soon, I think that means don’t don’t take the metaphorical hook out of your ideas too soon. Also, I noticed that sometimes you serve the fish raw, I like it to have a nice sear on both sides. I do appreciate one thing though, you only catch one fish at a time. Sometimes I use a net, drag the fish ashore and most of them rot or get eaten by seagulls.

Finding and posting a picture is easy. It’s much harder to write a descriptive essay - to describe a picture in as much detail as possible.
A picture may be worth a thousand words but words can describe more than just a visual image.
Why hasn’t this been moved to mundane babble already? Mods must be snoozin.

Why are people that complain or are offended yielded to?
What if I say to you You are short. YOU should expand to be able to understand the philosophical concept behind my metaphor.
In other words - It is I who is offended by your lack of reflection and It is I who is offended by your lack of philosophic background.
I am offended by the lack of YOUR ability to understand.
YOU should be ashamed. YOU cannot understand philosophy unless it has a number of words.
This thread may be the most honest & important thread on this entire page of philosophy titles.

Relax. I was just making an observation.
For now, that is.
I have terrible memory.
My mind is like a constant reaction to ideas, one idea triggers the next. Similar to the picture, an idea comes in, I look at while it’s there, then the next idea pushes it aside and I repeat the process. A positive though - when an old idea is triggered, I can recall my past reaction to it.
Moved to MB. Philosophy forum OPs require some philosophical content.
There is a difference though. Hanging onto an idea for a certain amount of time, struggling with it, fighting it, might only …hold on too long a time and there is nothing but lifelessness…death!
