Sorry but how do you know the truth of God? If God has a purpose that isn’t knowable to my perception what’s the point of belief in God? When you and I know we cannot truly “know” him? Your God conception can be further from mine. So? What’s your point? Again how do you “know” all of these things that I a humble mortal cannot ‘know’?
It appears your knowledge of God is based on elements of religion that only you can “know” and everyone else cannot “know” Had I agreed with you will i then really “know” god? You would say yes? Either way you don’t really “know.” You can only believe to know, as far as a supernatural being goes, anything more is mere speculation. The response " You never knew God," is false for you don’t know what I believed in, nor the depth of what I believed in at the time. A blanket statement such as " You never knew God," is one that smacks of insecurity of one owns beliefs.
Open your eyes and see that One true God may be possible, but the chances that your God is the true one is minute.
We have a forebrain that is the largest of any animal and its functions are more complicated than any animal. Define evil. Evil is just a notion created to identify the difference of something good to us and bad to us. Their appears to be gradation in good and evil, not absolute good and evil, if in fact we are born with love.
Self control over worldly desires. Worldly desires become control factors when they are our source of joy and love, prioretized over friends and family and most importantly God.
HAte is first frustraition of a wall in front of your will. Your will to obtain your desires. Then it becomes anger. If you blame others this anger is turned outward. If you blame yourself it’s turned into depression. Then lastly it becomes hate. Hate is accepting that you cannot overcome the wall.
So people who have true love and still love God more,… well they are just halucinating. Yet, your automatically right again.
I’m willing to look where you have gave up. You gave up on God because it wasn’t working on your terms.
No it smakes of security in what I feel from an unknown source I call God.
The fact you cannot feel God merely tells me that you have logic blockers that inhibit you from seeing what God is really about.
The facts about God come from faith. The fact that, “couples who pray together have statistically more intimate relationships,” shows God want’s couples to stay together. You may say there are variables where God doesn’t want couples to stay together. I say your right. The ones who got together baced on personal ideology that contradicts God’s will.
The fact that people who have “role model” relationships with God, actually do twice as much as you ever hoped to do,… well that just speaks for itself.
Open the eyes of your heart,… not the logic of your perception limited logic.
humans have desires to be then biochemical robots///have to learn the flow of nature in order to work with it.
So what caused this forbrain to be used? What caused it to be needed? Why aren’t animals evolving these now???
Why would anything be good? I mean people can learn to love killing. Even lions will kill their cubs so the lioness will mate sooner. So why does anything feel good??? People even learn to love pain. Unless you learn to love pain because you neglected something else.
Absolutly= if you kill it’s because you could find a holier way of overcomming your problems. Killing is a cop out so you don’t have to deal with the problem. Nothing is the lesser of two evils. Everything you defined in this statement is a compramize to compensate for your faults. So you build logic to protect your faults. That is truely evil, redefinning common sence to protect your emotion and nieveness. You ignore the concequence of your actions because the instant gratification it bought you alone.
You my friend need to read up on science a little more to answer your own questions. To the rest of your post, it is a smattering of misguided attempts at proving yourself correct using your religious affiliations. Logic leads to reason and reason to truth. Examining my own beliefs is a belief that we do not share unfortunately. But it’s nice to know that you think i use logic to protect my faults. Because its sure is better than using blind faith.
Your definitions are clearly not my definitions of common sense sir, so to find common ground here seems like too arduous a task and a pointless one.
Some of your defining statements/questions:
“Humans have desires to be robots.”
“Why aren’t animals evolving brains?”
“You can find a holier way…” Holy to whom?
“This is truly evil…” Evil to Whom?
Look it’s all relative, I just so happen to know that religion and God exist only to the minds that do not evaluate other options and are often the first to defend their beliefs regardless of the opposition’s logic.
If what I have done is evil then your God is evil, because he made me, and I am a product of God.
Humans have desires to be robots when they feed the “deamon” IE when you build a tolerance to drugs, your body adapts and needs the drugs to feel normal. IE, trying to balance their demeanor with instant gratifications.
Humans have desires to be more then biochemical robots when they are spiritually content and try to make the world reflect this spiritual contentness.
You see by science definning us as mere biochemical robots,… and people believing there is no morality,… thus people do the cheap and easy things to treat the side effects of a discontent soul,… and reinforce the idea that we are mere biochemical robots. Thus science has created a self-fullfilling philosophy.
If we are mere animals. Why haven’t animals evolve into half the intelligence of humans?? Where is the missing links??
Holyier then us as mortal beings.
Well one definition of evil is how we are born with unconditional love and learn to protect it with calousness. Thus all evil is a form of calousness. Even calousness to spiritual feelings such as marital love. It forces us to make compramises to treat the side effects of an unfullfilled soul.
