Meaning Making

Life is basically, utterly meaningless. We create meaning in our lives. But lets stop and think about this…let’s say one day you actually do figure out all the deep questions, like How consciousness works, how life exists, blablabla, all the deep questions. What then?? Where do go from there? It’s like opening presents, you feel special and wondeful for a while, but then life goes on. Even if you find all the deep questions…they are just like opening presents…you are back to square one. Pointless.

Jed McKenna said the truth of life was that negative feeling, the feeling you get that it’s all pointless. But I say he’s wrong, he is too focused on the feelings, too wrapped up negativity to see Truth.

It’s so clear to me now, what the purpose of life is. The purpose of life, is to ultimately make life good, whether 1 year from now, 1 minute now, 1000 years from now, whatever action makes life good overall. So finding out consciousness how it works can be a useful tool in this regard, it can improve the quality of our lives.

Meaning making isn’t neccessarily bad…it is simply meaning making. Making isn’t bad, making can be good or bad. Meaning can be good or bad. So the purpose of life is ultimately to make life good overall. It’s so clear to me.

Now the dogma of Quinn says that life cannot ever be grounded. Now this is an assumption on his part…maybe there is a type of consciousness that can be grounded and is not always transforming, and is also eternally happy.

Yes, I think you are right with that.

A way to go on from there could be to pass your answers to other people and try to surround yourself with a few who have the same goal … to ultimately make life good. When people care to make their own lives good and also care about the good life of those in their immediate surroundings, the outcome for each might be more successfull. And it’s more interesting than trying it by yourself. But you have to define what a “good life” is.
It’s difficult to find the right people. Would be for me, but it’s worth trying.

… or you write a book.

Basically, MIJOT.

Basically, the first step is to live lightly, and be conscientious. Like, actually thinking about cows if and when you eat a hambuger.

Problem is, most people these days, especially teenage women, are mentally handicapped, and I’m not saying this to be funny, I mean they have a seriously diminished mental capacity. If they do well at school, is because they study hard, and the book helps them memorize well.

What I mean by live lightly and conscientious is this.

I will repost Kellys rant

I know what you mean, I see it every day myself. But they are easy to influence. Depends on your ability to convince them step by step, when you are sure that you found the right answers. When you act as an example, the effect could be “homeopathic”.

I don’t think they are easy to influence, they are incredibly fragile, its like working with a land mine. You litterally have to pre-think every possible word you say to them because they are so quick to judge everything as “creepy” or “weird lol” the slightest perturbation in their consciousness will send them running away, never to hear from again, and as they run away they get ran over by a car, because they are too stupid to pay attention their surroundings.

For example, I would never use the word “perturbation” around them because it sounds too much like “perverted” or “masturbation” and they would instantly assume it was something sexual and call the police. They have their blinders on to reality, perturbation is not a sexual term.
