Mechanical Animals.

ok… joker…

1st…if we are worshiping ourselves…so what? i guess u agree with me that there are no absolutes right? ok… so then why should we worship the absolute of peace and inaction?
instead of worshiping our own power and capabilities? and apreciating it with its pros and cons?

second… we are different than animals in degree, not in nature as far as i am concerned… and even them make rudimentary tools to serve their purposes…and compete agains each other for food and mates…
i rarely see a primate on a lotus position meditating and giving up his bananas for others.

third… what do we want to reach? knowledge! the greatest tool… be there absoultes or not… its a great tool… ilusory or real…whatever…it WORKS.

fourth… people die in the west too…and what’s wrong with wanting to have a better life?
everyone wants confort and spare time to better themselves…which technlogy makes possible…

do you like to better yourself? or cling to trees?
i bet you like to read… you like the internet… whic are a product of capitalism…

i bet you also like yoga… and you being able to be aware of it’s existence and having access to classes is a product of capitalism too.

mechanical animals? marilyn manson is a capitalist…or else he’d give up his music 4 free…

ok… being a naive optimist makes u a capitalist? not quite… i am a ‘‘pessimist’’… but who says we have to be able to win the game to be able to play it?

we can try, and strive for fun…and curiosity like we do… if we can’t win whatever! it’s the journey that matters…

knowledge serves not only those in power, but the people too…
and if u negate this u r in denyal…

why do u think immigrants come to the US? … if capitalism was such a horror…they wouldn’t…and believe me…they don’t work bank or office jobs…
they do he dirty jobs… happily… why? cause there’s a better standard of living… and it feels good to earn your stuff and have what you deserve…

the western world being a selfish country?

u have to see poverty in mine… here ‘‘poor people’’ get a free ride from the gobvt, i know cases of friends…

i LOVE the fact that i was born in this enlightened era… and i know there are side effects…
but hey… would u die of some dissease because u refuse to take the meds for it’s side effects?
i don’t think so.
:astonished:

I think you worship idealism, instead of the body.
That’s not really self-worship… That’s “morality”…

“we”?
Come on…

Cut that shit out!
Self-love is very constructive and useful.
Guilt is bullshit and self-waste.

Because good old mother nature made us that way.
Also, most human deaths are caused by disease, not war.

Well atleast your honest with yourself. [-X

Who? …Me? :astonished:

Do tell how.

What is your objection?

If you say so…

Who said anything about guilt?

Are you feeling guilty? I am just making statements.

If nature doesn’t have the cure or answers to our problems then how could it exactly create them?

Nature can’t give man what he thinks is owed to himself since nature never created any such things to begin with.

:evilfun: Do not pass go, do not collect a hundred dollars.

Please try again.

I agree with Dan the little chewing bunny…
what u r propposing is morality…
doesn’t that go agains your anti-absolutism? c’mon now joker…

Show me morality from my statements…

I am disappointed in you heavenly demonic for joining the bandwagon but I shouldn’t be surprised…

i have a will and i like to express it…

joker i thought u believed in the wil to power… not in utopia and pipe dreams as Nietzche would call them…

I do believe in the will of power I just don’t think today’s contemporary society is a good representation of it.

nothing can be ideal…
but i think the western ‘ideal’ is…i am not gonn say best,… but the most corageous and warrior like i’ve seen…

communism or naturalism FEARS incertitude so it stays static.

You live in Peru, right?

I tell you what when you get here to America have fun with it.

I have lived in the United States for twenty years and while many dream coming here with wild fantasies of the so called American Western dream I desperately want out of the nightmare.

We will see how courageous you think the West is when you actually live in it’s confines.

i live in the US at the moment… and i love it…
i know i have to work hadr 4 what i want and i like it this way…
in peru i had commodities too… cause my parents worked hard for them
and lazy people just dont have them…
lazy and uncreative ppl…

i like it better here cause capitalism is more accentuated than in my country and that way i can progress with more velocity and facility.

my country is kinda capitalist too… but its in its infancy…

I agree, too many people are “working jobs they hate for that shit they dont need”

dude i like ppa roach but u dont need to quote coby dick…

the shit they dont need, includes his music, like it or not…

u don’t have to quote all of the immages in fact… u know…
jeez

fight club

i think u where hurt joker…
i was hurt too…
but instead of dismissing the game wich hurt me as stupid and critizicing it so that i feel justified in turning my back on it, i decided to play it and win.

I guess i have converted u …
who converted u?
the goddess heavenly demonic…
i may not be blonde or german…
but i am the shit…

:astonished:

It’s generally assumed in legal practice that a person dangerous to or spiteful at society has been “hurt” in some way. It establishes motive. Of course, plainly spiteful people who’ve learned a bit too much to swallow and commit crime, with little affixed motive, other than their victim’s representation of the big problems and cruel unfairness of history, are more likely to be considered crazy. In Canada that’s usually somewhat convenient for the criminal.

“I did it because I hate your society. I guess that makes me crazy.”

ok, so u r basically saying that non conformists are crazy…

u r contraticting urself.

lol. Well I do let the argument keep its weight when people call me crazy.

I suppose I consider the world crazy. I suppose that’s easy for anyone to say, without hardly any justification, because there’s hardly anything to compare it to.

But basically what I’m saying- is that the irony of the law will protect you as a sort of vigilante. The law isn’t in a position to agree with your crime. But you didn’t have direct justification for it anyway (“bobby took my lollypop”), so you shouldn’t be punished per se. See the confusion? “the world drives me to this” is considered similar to the attitude “I’m the voice of my own god.” I’m a criminal if I hurt Bobby because he took my lollypop. I’m crazy if I hurt someone like Bobby because I’ve read about all the Bobbies that take lollipops.

The clinical definition of crazy is to repeat the same thing continuously and expecting different results. That would make a whole lot of activists crazy, wouldn’t it?

My message is essentially purposeless here. I just enjoy the ironies.

Ahh… You got love that civic societal moral tone.

Those dam lazy uncreative simpleton scum of the earth in the way of my dualistic perception of what a righteous society should be.

:unamused:
