Instead of making an argument, you take a criticism of certain members of the rich and powerful as a call for a holocaust for rich people in general.
This is a nice way to avoid an actual discussion.

‘You and the boys never put your clothes in the hamper.’
‘Oh, yeah, I see what you’re getting at: rounding up all the men in concentration camps and gassing us to death.’
(IOW - shut up, nothing needs to change, fuck you if you have a problem with our or their behavior)

It is a good strategy to conserve the status quo.

Yeah, the Democrats really want this. Clinton destroyed Western Capitalism. Hell, the democrats strike me as conservative and yet I have no interest in killing a single rich person. The Democrats are not the Shining Path. The vast majority of those to the left of the Democrats are not The Shining Path. Obama is going to call for pogroms against the rich? Please.
