I wanted to bring forward this thread in the Mundane Babble first but I think I’m seeking for more diversified, both theoretical and applied views on:
What makes something mediocre? (is it a mere categorisation of the thing/phenomenon into a less numerous, rare, exclusive group, is it relative?)
What do you do to fight (if you do) experiencing the mediocre in your life?

I suppose it is purely based on a relative judgement of other available specimins.

I think inanimate objects can be mediocre in a sense but I’m still working on what makes a person ‘mediocre’ - that is when you experience their self as an amalgamation of habits hidden under the skin of appearance.
