Men and women, what are your scales for rating other women or men in regards to attraction and finding a mate?
My scale is pretty simple… 1-10 based on attraction.
+1 for very confident
+2 for asian girls
-1 for smoking
-2000 for needing your stomach pumped before or after going home with me
P.S. my standard for a woman is 8, or 7 if I’m really, really drunk…
P.S.S. I don’t care if I seem shallow!
He’s gotta be alpha, or he won’t be able to cope with me, my family, or my world - right now, I’ll settle for no less than a 10: if I remain single, so be it.
I’ve settled for less before: which is why it’s never lasted, and I don’t like dating too many guys in one life-time!
Here’s one odd thing I’ve discovered about 10s… male 10s are great. A male 10 is smart, strong, confident, funny, etc. etc. A female 10 though is mostly just looks (from a guy’s perspective). Most female 10s are assholes…now that’s fine and all if us males are just looking to get laid, but when it comes to a relationship, many women 10s just don’t work out. They’re too much upkeep; they require lots of money, emotional/mental competition to stay loyal, and often in the end, they’re no more intelligent than any other woman out there.
So for males, when it comes to a serious relationship, I believe the 1-10 scale breaks off into more detail… say 1-10 for attraction, 1-10 for personality.
Then they’re not 10s are they???

Well… I’ve been around males more than females, and see them in action all the time
I’ve always had way more male friends, and only a handfull of female ones - I’m smart like that!
Males make much better friends, since on average we’re more predictable and loyal than women. My life experiences reflect this anyway.
Though personally, I prefer female friends to males, since I enjoy figuring out women’s subtle intracacies.
it’s hard for me to retain a “platonic” relationship with women since i see nearly all of them( besides family of course) as potential “mates”(by that i mean copulation buddies). still i respect them a great deal and i guess i’m a feminist( but that’s mostly due to egoism)

Lets see; He has to be mostly presentable in public with his manners.
Must be able to do more than scratch, burp and fart during a conversation with me.
Can dress himself with out looking like he stepped out of a drunk closet.
Know how to urinate in a toilet and can find a new TP roll without asking.
Be able to hold a job for longer than a year. Hmmm, let me say that he actually must want to work.
And most important; must love me and all of my faults forever.
After that anything on the plus side is gravy or icing. I married a guy just above average on all of those qualifications except the last, he scores perfect on that, so I am happy.

There are some pretty high standards here. What are the odd on fulfilling them? A trillion to one? How about just having a a 10 as be able to breathe on their own,walk without help and talk coherently. Higher standards means a greater fall.
Rather than settling for an 8 tonight at the bars, I went home alone.
High standards will payoff for me someday!
