What country do you think the most attractive people come from? People tend to say Italy for men, Russia for women, etc, but I think that’s bullshite. I don’t know about women, and I only really find British men attractive. I fancy my fair share of Hollywood stars, admittedly, but in real life, American men just sound/act like girls, and Italians etc act like complete poofs. So where does everyone think?
despite my tendency to go for the greasy stelios type men, i don’t think you can go wrong with a nice young british lad. it sounds so wrong, but blokes from other countries just make me laugh. as nicky said, the yanks prance about like women, the italians and the spanish wear tight trousers and shades (for the ladies only, i think you’ll find), etc etc etc.
what you want is a good english boy, or maybe a scots boy with a very slight edinburgh accent (NOT glasgow). the welsh accent makes everyone laugh, so none of that. rugby players’re good (better thighs and a more intelligent game than football), but you also want to steer clear of the thick neck thing. rank.
ahem … off on one somewhat there. so yeah, i’m thinking british men. but then again, i don’t think you can really generalise to this degree.
with women, it depends on what you think is attractive. american women look after themselves very well, on the other hand most of them don’t realise theres a world outside the states, so thats not entirely attractive. i dunno, i think its impossible to decide, really.
rugby more intelligent than football??? surely not, tactically football is far more complex but you can't dump tackle in football...
anyway every country has hot people and minging people, but my dad said this to me and i only relaised it after the war and they took off their burhka's. but the people in afgahnistan are some of the most beautiful in world, and from the news i saw he was right.
It’s quite true actually. A bit of waxing/shaving/plucking/electrolysis and they could brush up quite nice.
I’m sticking with British men. Although I can see how they could be repellent, too … for example American girls are so disgusted by how tight British men’s jeans are, coz in the states even the Trevvy type men wear big baggies.
italian men are quite nice really. i remember them all having really nice eyes. you can’t beat a british boy though, a well dressed one that is… heh
thats the essential element, eyes. but everyone has them and they’re rarely minging.
My god! Everyone here seems to be living in a different Britain from me! Maybe I’m just living in the wrong part of the UK (London) cos I don’t know any decent guys here! None of them are pretty to look at (not that I can complain having a justified fear of the mirror and all that…)
Scottish guys though … maybe its all the cold fresh air and all that.
I have to agree with macca (I think it was) about how beautiful the Afganistani people are. I think a lot of people from those regions are absolutely stunning. Its something to do with the really deep dark eyes I think.
rugby more intelligent than football??? surely not, tactically football is far more complex but you can’t dump tackle in football…<<<
hahaha what a joke!!!
tactically football… complex… hahahahahhaha the only tactic ive ever seen in football is if someone else gets the ball pretend they hurt you and fall over and cry for ten minutes.footballers are a complete loads of wusses.
rugby players are MEN
give me a MAN any day
ture there is alot of deception in football, but it's getting more and more common in rugby, eg. blood capsuals being used so you can rest a player while keeping a blood replacement on the pitch.
tactis in football are far more complex. in rugby squad formation, cohesion and set pieces are very much simplified, if you watch, for instance, a champions league football match you will see how as the game progresses the formation, tactics etc evolve and change, aswell as the actually numbers of tactics being far greater.
so what if there are tactics in football and rugby? You think it’s the players that sit down and think them up? Yeah right. It’s the managers and the coaches who decide the tactics while the footballers and rugby players just grunt and move the ball around the pitch.
If i were going to choose someone to fancy for their intelligence, it would be the coaches, not the players. :S
I can’t think of a coach though which was not formerly a player of the game, so if you like a player whos on the pitch, rather than a coach, then you obviously like potential! A grunting guy who can just tell his left from his right one day, the next, a tactically thinking coach yelling his head off, chewing gum, who can actually string a sentence together. What a transformation. If you want someone with intelligence, look elsewhere.

actually the coaches have very little input on tactics, it’s the manager who handles tactics while the coaches in most cases run the training side of things. i never said you had to be intelligent to be good at football, most of the tactics for football relie upon apply the skills of your players to the oppositions skills, and then trying to dismantel the oppositions tactics.
alot of players become managers and coaches but there are a number who weren’t
football is such the sport for wimpy men. if you are a proper man, you go and beat up other men by playing rugby. you get thrown about, get your nose broken and it’s all in good fun and it makes you feel like a man.
footballers are more concerned with their hair than what they’re doing on the pitch. they run about like poofters and every so often they do a catherine crimp and fall over so they don’t have to run about anymore.
so, in conclusion,
footballers = pretty boys
rugby players = real men
also, rugby is far more interesting to watch than football. i think it might be due to all the blood and violence…yay!
i dunno what rugby you play, but i haven’t broken my nose in 4 years worth of playing, as for pretty boys, you have to be joking, rugby players are some of the most superficial people on earth, that mixed with the fact that half them are toffs and are crap players.
I find rugby players more appealling in some respects because generally, they’re more intelligent than footballers … I think because it’s a more middle class game.
oh joy here comes the class debate.
well it’s true. i’m not saying rich people are genetically more intelligent than poor ones or something like that, i’m just saying that rugby players are, as far as i can tell, more likely to be public-school-boy types and therefore are probably more educated than your average footballer.
but you didn’t say educated, you said intelligent, thus saying you think the ‘lower’ classes are not intelligent and the ‘higher’ classes are intelligent. speaking of which, for the teams i have played the rugby squads consist more of the less intelligent ‘lower’ classes and the football squads consist of the more intelligent ‘higher’ classes.
This is like an episode of “The Good Life”.
i always fancied being penelopy keith…
