What is a mental illness?
So there is only one right way to think, feel, and logisticize?
What is collectively common or found in the majority in the making of the consensus that represents normalcy is always correct, right?
Let’s think of a analogy of eight people trapped inside a cave where seven of the eight commit acts of cannibalism. Only one person of the eight refuses to partake in the acts of cannibalism choosing instead to starve themselves to death. In this analogy, who is right?
Let’s use a historical reference. In ancient Meso- America the Aztecs would partake in what they called the flower wars every spring.
The flower wars was where warriors would actively roam enemy villages to capture people so that they could drag them back to the Aztec temples to be killed and sacrificed on ceremonial sacrificial alters.
The priest would come with a obsidian knife tearing the beating heart out of the living sacrificial victims with them being conscious of the whole violent ritualistic procedure. Crowds of onlookers throughout the city would surround the Aztec temple where the sacrifices were being held where a majority of them would cheer in massive celebration of the blood rituals. How about that for a majority consensus of normalcy?
No one has a clear answer as to how a person gets ill, the popular consensus suggests that it’s either genetic, passed on through generations

Well, if you eat shit all day and think you’re The God of Thunder then you’re probably mentally ill. Yes, mental illness is mostly conceived through the eye of the general public, if a subject is of harm to himself or others, a.k.a aggressive then he is mentally unstable. Mental illness is a broad subject, as broader it can get, so putting all of this into one box isn’t the best way of leading a debate. This isn’t a question of oppression or hatred of originality by the "public’, it’s a question of help and solution. Commies did label anyone who was against the regime as “Mentally Ill” but that’s a whole different story.
