As a personal issue, I dunno whether this belongs in mundane babble or not, but it concerns religion, so here goes:
In the past few weeks I’ve developed a fascination for Reform Judaism, as opposed to Orthodox Judaism, since i’m not a fan of dogma or imposed doctrine.
For the most part, I’m impressed with Jewish principles, practice and tradition. Of course, you have to rationalize some of these, which is probably why Reform Judaism let’s it’s followers sort out the Torah and the Oral Law for themselves.
I’ve also felt this sense of belonging to a community, a religious one. And I strongly feel Reform Judaism is right for me. I’ve even felt like committing myself sometime in the future.
