Democracy is not the most efficient configuration. A hierarchy of the Top Trinity is. The Top Trinity are the 3 Supreme Overlords who create the best ideas and plans, (for instance, Trixie would be one of them.) They would be self regulating and regulate each other.
Then the heirarchy net would spread out, from idea phase to conception phase. The Overlords would make the plans, and the worker bees would actuate the fine details, such as managing the economy based on said plans. This is the most efficient configuration. However, the configuration has one drawback, is that no damage must befall the Top Trinity, or else the hierarchy would lose it’s stability.
The problem with democracy is rather obvious, you don’t manage things from the bottom up, all efficient hierarchies are top-down. You make the most wise create the plans, and then the hive accomplishes said plans through top down management heirarchies. The drawback to this is you must choose carefully the 3 supreme overlords. Democracy, on the other hand, has safety in it’s guaranteed mediocrity.
Morality is not relative, since there is a possible configuration to make all organisms healthy. So any distance from that is the percent of immorality, ranging from 0 to 100 percent immoral.
And organism health is the basis of morality, to deny that is to embrace Nihilism. And 100 percent Nihilists don’t care about anything, therefore actions in disagreement to them is irrelevant. Secondly, your views about experiencing the now with no aversion to ill, and no aversion to recurrence of those ills, is either highly Nihilistic, or biologically and spiritually maladapted so it is somewhat disconcerting. As stated above, in inverse relation to the amount Nihilism present in the organism, is the amount that organism’s arguments and policies are relevant and taken into consideration.
I don’t even want to waste my time typing the thousands of words it would take to prove how nuts this is… I’ll just state that it is nuts. Provably nuts.
To think a trinity exists at the top is insane, to call them overlords is crackpot, no good person would call themselves a lord. I got sucked into this more than I wanted already. People who self regulate are like competent plumbers, their skills can be passed to those capable of doing it right, the leadership of the world is just like that - what you’re saying, is like saying a world of 7 billion people should or can only have 3 plumbers - it’s absurd.
What we really need is an organization that pays prize money to people who can make ethics axioms like the math community has, and if it’s not a proof because of review - no prize money.
This is a projection, it is a discussion of hierarchies and efficiency. There were no claims that such a system was currently in place, but time will tell.
It’s the most efficient hierarchy, hypothetically speaking. If you built 3 noble and wise supercomputers, who had noble intentions, would it not be efficient and the best plan to put them as overlords? The question is not efficiency but of faith - can you trust these overlords to be noble and wise? And if you can trust them, why would you have them as part of the worker hive, doing menial tasks, and the worker hive, doing the important decisions? It’s inefficient and completely wack. The worker hive has a specialized set of skills, and the overlords have a special set of skills. An overlord is not meant to perform menial tasks, and a drone is not meant to perform important decisions. An overlord is not meant to regulate the finer aspects of the economy, only make general assertions that certain parameters are met. Likewise, the accountants are not designed to be overlords. Anything else would be ill fitted and tremendously inefficient and immoral.
This is complete nonsense Trixie, the best realities don’t work anything like that. I’m not going to post my personal solutions here, just know that this idea you presented is nonsense.
It is maximum efficiency and it is unfortunate that your sense registers do not recognize this.
Possible theory is you think that the overlords are not open to suggestions. The overlords are open to suggestions from the lower hierarchy, ideas will be analyzed and the outcomes of their merits projected. Anything else would be foolish.
