Does America need a CEO President? I think a multi-billionaire CEO, would
be a perfect choice for an United States President. He could run America like a Multi-National Corporation. He would already be leading in Campaign Funds, before he even started campaigning. He could do much more than Rudy Giuliani or Hillary Clinton.

Yeah, and he could get Schwarzenegger for a running mate, and then get shot, so Arnie gets to be president.

I guess Bloomberg is more than likely to run eventually. He clearly enjoys the power and indeed coughing up the funds is not going to be a problem. I think that a president not attached to any party interests could be very effective in dealing with long term issues; and financially he doesn’t have to create opportunities for himself by acting in corporate interests to aquire wealth later; he doesn’t have to make friends.

Which is why Bloombergs election could be a step back to integrity for America - it would involve less hypocricy; less begging and cajoling. And he coudn’t really be bribed.

Bloomberg is the ruling capitalist on wallstreet. If he became president I am sure there would be a overt tendency of mass exploitation on the working class more so then the present.

I’ll tell you that compared to the Netherlands, America is an actual nation.
It does have severe problems in terms of sucial security, healthcare and war budget, etcetera, but at least in daily life it feels like a citizen is a person and not a number.
When I flew home from New York City, where I’ve stayed for some months, and read a Dutch newspaper on the plane, I was astounded by the headline “Parents believe children should be raised more rigorously.”
That is modern day Holland for you - national newspapers actually pretend to speak for all parents of the country. Now that is something you’ll never find in the US. At least there people believe people are individuals. Here they actually don’t.

Michael Bloomberg, is a strong devoted Philanthropist, and spends adequate amounts of time financially and physically, donating and servicing others. He is intelligent, which his mass fortune, would foretell.
He has the expericence running large corporations. Since America supposedly, turned from a superpower democracy, to a large corporation.
Sometime in the last few minutes. America would be privileged and honored, to have him compete for the Presidency and even elected.
