Modern Abrahamism isn't Biblical

Actually I was responding to the thread’s proposition that such a thing exists. So you’re an Abrahamist? Interesting.

My bad. I stand corrected.
Having hastily misread your post my response was alluding to
The great authority, the Scriptures, gives you wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

So what do the Abrahamic Accord, have in common.

They don’t trace their ancestry to Jesus, because that creates a divide between religions, one says Jesus is the kingpin, the other one says No. Muhammad is the kingpin. So the Christians won’t accept Muhammad and Muhammadans wont accept Jesus Christ as the founder. The only way to resolve the issue is to go back further in history and let’s make it Abraham, then we can say, well, the Jews come from Abraham via Isaac, and Islam says No, we come from Abraham via Ishmael. The Christians follow the line that the Jews followed and say All right, that led to Jesus Christ, so we will call it the Abrahamic Accord. But do you realise the Abrahamic Accord therefore excludes Jesus. Of course, because with the Jews and with Islam he is excluded completely. But there is three in this group of Abrahamic Accord. Islam Judaism and Catholic. So who will be the primary kingpin in that alliance? The Pope. Haven’t all the leaders made accords with the Pope? Haven’t they signed documents of fraternity? So he is slightly more equal than the others. All this means that they don’t have to have an accord where they accept this situation. Does the Roman Catholic church believe in the atonement? No. That is why you must all pay for your own sins in purgatory. The whole doctrine of purgatory and the treasury of merit is a concocted doctrine that is nowhere in the scriptures, but is a Catholic theology, Islam calls it a false doctrine. They call it an anathema. Does the Jewish religion deny that Jesus is the one that died for your sins? Yes, Completely. So the three religions in the Abrahamic accord all deny the atonement. therefore they deny the gospel.

Probably actually yes and no,

Yes that’s what we are led to believe, since the Roman side consisted of seeing is believing , they had to see the the actual miracles.

Yes because the Greek side knew better by their gods retiring prematurely.

There was a great clash between the Greek sided Christians, to whom literal transmission up ended their firm belief of how the whole thing started, they were prior to the Romans, so the gods’s fall was necessary to unify all that was previously disarrayed

Some kind schism there

“Divide and conquer.” But the funny thing is that it is impossible for the cattle divided by faith to realize the simple wholeness of .
You don’t have to realize what Jews are. You can’t think about what “Abrahamic” religions are. No to understand who and why divided the cattle into different herds by faith. Every dumb sheep is bleating about his own. He will never understand what another sheep in another herd thinks. The more rams are genetically incapable of understanding why they were divided. Only two words “divide and conquer” do not fit in their stupid brains. Animals cannot understand human words.

Now honestly this is mere supposition, but Gnosticism does hold that there are two ways to look at things

One can spit on any onanism of thought and Gnosticism in particular. Everyone has his own truth - hence “as many people as there are opinions”.

The traditions are linked, the intuitive search for common objectives predates modern efforts of mutual understanding, can be said reversely.

However, these comments, are beyond reproach in light of Pius XIi ‘ encyclical, mentioned above., I believe . The comment made on Faith , therefore is an admission of guilt per Heidegger’s Turn on Nietzche.)

Faith is a herd instinct. For those who genetically have not yet turned into human beings, the priority is the herd and the herd way of thinking.
That is, where one sheep goes, the other sheep goes. And the main, stupid and brainless goat is at the head of the herd.

True - but my response was about a claim that meat shortens life - it does not.

Just because it is Peterson - does not mean it is right. Perterson and his daughter are examples of how it is eaily possible to subsist holly on meat.
There is much enthnographic evidence to show this is true as well.
The Masai population of men eat only Beef, Blood and Milk, and are the healthiest people on the planet. Heart disease, diabetes and obesity were unknown to them until urbanisation. Individuals who live a city life are now showing up with these problems.
Innuit basically 90% whale and seal blubber. The story is pretty much the same for them.
The only worry with a meat diet is lack of Vitamin C - turns out that is not a problem.
Vilhjalmur Stefansson, a 20th-century Arctic explorer, lived with the Inuit and observed they remained healthy on an all-meat diet, without signs of scurvy. He found that fresh, raw or lightly cooked meat provided enough vitamin C, making plant foods unnecessary. To prove this, he ate only meat for a year under medical supervision in 1928 and stayed in perfect health. His experience showed that a meat-only diet can work, and that vitamin C needs are lower when carbohydrate intake is minimal and nutrients are preserved in the meat.

You should read Denis Minger, Gary Taubes, Robert Lustig, and many others who have shown that Harvard and the Mayo are in the hands of political and food industry interests, and that the “food Pyramid” and dietary advice has been wrong for about 50 years.

Epidemiological studies are not science.
Yeah all debinked with real evidence.
Ancel Keys showed them all how to get the politically advantageous results that the funders required.

No.
It is possible to thrive on plants as long as you get some meat, fish and eggs, but it is not optimal.
Plants are generally problematic, and the further you go back in history the more dangerous they are as some of the problems have been bred out.
Plants contain things which protect them against being eaten - in every cell i their bodies, ,except some fruit which is designed to attract consumption.
Lectins, oxalates and alkaloids make many plants dangerous even fatal to eat. Plants cannot run away, or turn and use horns.
There are a host of diseases that have gradually wiped out many humans but with time we have evolved to be tolerant, Yet these genes that make plants dangerous are still cropping up. Allergies, and intolerances are not just inconviences - they are part of how plants have avoded consumption in an perputual evolutionary war.
Selective breeding has helped, but there are pitfalls

It remains a FACT, that eating meat is the baseline of the human diet, and far from shortening life: it is the adoption of agriculture and mass consumption of grains that has shortened life - and the archaeological evidence is clear,

I appreciate your detailed response.
It leaves me with a lot to research.

I’ve been deep diving in to this for three years.
I lost 50lbs and dropped five medications by concentrating on meat, fish and eggs, with some green matter. I’ve also had periods of carnivore where I’ve been perfectly happy - if a bit bored.

The Abraham Accords are a series of diplomatic agreements aimed at normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab nations. These agreements, signed in 2020, include the United Arab Emirates,Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. The Accords emphasize principles of mutual understanding, coexistence, and cooperation, promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.

It seems to me you are following someone’s lead in supposing that there is something called “Abrahamism” and then conflating it with this term “Abraham Accords” from international politics. I think that’s confused. It’s up to whoever proposes that Abrahamism exists to prove it.

Yes I am aware of this.
My reply was to question the validity of the idea of a spiritual connection between the three and to explain why this is so.

Of a spiritual connnection between the three, there is none.
In fact Judaism is closer to Islam than to Christianity. The phrase “Judeo-Christian is much less appropriate than the phrase Judeo-Muslim”

It plays an important role in the New World Order.

Perhaps your ability to loose so much gained weight was one of the deciding factors in the positive outcome, also ceasing the “five medications” which would be a strain on the kidneys?

I like the title Ultra Processed People and Immunity: the Science of Staying Well and Why we get Sick.

What was your review on those as unfortunately I don’t have that much spare time to read that extensively.

Of course there’s a spiritual connection between the three religions. Jesus and all his immediate followers were Jews. He wasn’t trying to start a new religion. Neither were any of the writers of the New Testament. That came later.

Jesus quotes the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) which is part of the Christian Bible directly or indirectly in the New Testament hundreds of times, with scholars estimating around 280 direct quotes. Additionally, there are over 400 references to Old Testament passages in the New Testament, including paraphrases and allusions.

The Quran mentions Jesus approximately 25 times by name, but also refers to him through titles and descriptions, bringing the total number of references to around 95. The Hebrew Bible, also known as the Old Testament, is referenced more broadly, with themes and stories appearing throughout the Quran, but not directly quoted.

But, I’m unaware of people subscribing to a religion called “Abrahamism” where the three religions are lumped together.

In what way?

One recognises Jesus as a Prophet only, and

the other rejects Jesus as the Messiah.

The Catholic Church does not recognise the Atonement and believes it is by works alone.

None of this is Biblical.

Ultra Processed People is a must read.
The book on immunity was interesting, but I do not think it taught me much.

If you don’t read, maybe you have time to listen

More about the Liver. Statins, PPI, Aspirin,CCI, and Salbutamol.

Stains because they are a waste of time and potentially harmful,
PPI because we need stomach acid to prevent infections and to assist mineral absorbsion. And lowering carbs made meant I no longer needed the PPI.
Aspirin because, whilst it thins the blood, also can cause ulceration.
CCI because its was just another BP lowering med, that I felt I did not need.
And the Salbutamol because my breathing just got better.

I’m starting to wonder about this although I tend to agree that it wasn’t the immediate focus of the followers of Jesus. The Gospels are all specifically written the everyday Koine Greek spoken across the eastern Roman Empire in the first century CE. The authors of the Gospels seem to all have had Greek schooling and the presence of Semitisms (Semitic linguistic features) in the Greek text is best explained by bilingualism and the use of Hebrew/Aramaic sources, rather than by direct translation from Aramaic originals. The Greek Gospels do not read like translations, but as original compositions in Greek

Judging by the way that the NT brings Paul into play, I suspect that the Gospel authors were already looking outside of Israel or Jewish communities for their readership, and the Greek influence is hard to ignore. His letters, written in Greek and addressed to diverse communities across the Roman world, set a precedent for a Christianity that was not confined to Jewish communities. The Gospels, composed after Paul’s missionary activity, reflect this expansive vision.

Presenting themselves as a Jewish sect initially helped early Christians avoid the legal and social risks associated with being seen as a new, unauthorized religion in the Roman Empire, which could bring persecution. Over time, as more Gentiles joined and as theological differences with mainstream Judaism grew, Christianity developed its own distinct identity. Once adopted in the Gospels, it was difficult to erase the Hebrew influence, although there is enough evidence to suggest that the interpretation of Hebrew scripture did not follow orthodox Jewish teaching.

It’s all “biblical”, i.e. based on the bible.

False
The Catholic doctrine on this subject is set forth in the sixth Session of the Council of Trent, chapter ii. Having shown the insufficiency of Nature, and of Mosaic Law the Council continues:

Whence it came to pass, that the Heavenly Father, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1, 3), when that blessed fullness of the time was come (Galatians 4:4) sent unto men Jesus Christ, His own Son who had been, both before the Law and during the time of the Law, to many of the holy fathers announced and promised, that He might both redeem the Jews, who were under the Law and that the Gentiles who followed not after justice might attain to justice and that all men might receive the adoption of sons. Him God had proposed as a propitiator, through faith in His blood (Romans 3:25), for our sins, and not for our sins only, but also for those of the whole world (I John ii, 2).
