Most Aggravating Actors and Actresses

Hello F(r)iends,

Actually I did see “In The Cut” a.k.a. ‘Porno in Disguise’ My wife and I enjoyed… ahem.
However, as a thriller with a twist ending, I must say that I was a bit bored with the movie… but on the bright side, it introduced me to Mark Ruffalo–an actor who has potential.

Dunamis, on Steven Seagal, they don’t even need a slow-motion effect for his action scenes anymore… they let him go at his own pace and pretend that it was in slow motion. :evilfun:

Thirst,

“Dunamis, on Steven Seagal, they don’t even need a slow-motion effect for his action scenes anymore… they let him go at his own pace and pretend that it was in slow motion.”

This is hilarious.

I didn’t really enjoy “In the Cut”, nor did I find it pornographic really. But it was incredibly gritty for Meg (injection to the lips) Ryan, and filled with surpressed female angst. The violence/sexuality under the surface echoed of The Eyes of Laura Mars or a non-fantastic Candyman. And yes, Mark Ruffalo has a wonderful delivery, even better when in not in such an atmospheric film. The film “We Don’t Live Here Anymore” with Naomi Watts was nice, and he was a bit funny in support in “The Eternal Sunshine…” For me he is the opposite of a “Most Aggravating Actor”, quite simpatico.

Dunamis

Hello F(r)iends,

I was nearly set to shut down my computer when I remembered:

Sandra Bullock - She is not an actress, she is a demon that needs to be exorcised. If anyone remembers the scene in Braveheart where the son Robert De Bruce screams at his father “Die! I want you to die!” Yes, she is another one of those actors that evokes such bile, such bitter hatred. Her movies make me cringe and the thought of her face (that tremendous snout!) makes me shudder with fear of the torture of watching her acting…

Now, I must leave and shower.

Sarah Jessica Parker–obnoxious and not so great actress

Tom Cruise-- can he be any more fake?

Sarah Michelle Geller-- Bad acting and strange way of talking, hard to explain but annoying

PG-13,

“Sarah Michelle Geller-- Bad acting and strange way of talking,”

Dunamis

I dont get it ??

Tom Selleck,

Friends wasn’t the funniest show… but he was a human statue.

Mark Hamill,

I mean… there’s a reason he hasn’t done anything since Star Wars.

Jar Jar Binx
,

shakes his head

Tom Hanks,

I honestly do not think this man is a -great- actor. He’s good… I really liked Forest Gump (although not a hard role to play), but someone explain why the media crawls under his desk and services him every time he puts out a peice of shit like ‘Cast Away’.

Ashton Kutcher,

He’s a cokehead… and that’s what made him famous, not acting.

David Caruso
,

He acts alright… he acts REALLY serious and forgets everything else.

Keanu Reeves

This man has no talent. Watch Devil’s Advocate and compare him to Pacino, then tell me he’s a good actor.

He’s got a -bit- of talent when it comes to acting…

It’s in his band that he’s truly got no talent

Sarah Michelle Geller… She has a strange way of talking…kind of nasal maybe? Or…I mean it’s just hard to explain, but it is annoying, and makes me cringe…

I have a special place in my heart for that band…I watched the lead singer when she was a naive sweet girl on The Real World and now she’s a rocker chick in mesh black outfits, anyway, I think she was cool and she can sing nice…

Keanu Reeves, if he is so talentless then why does he do so many great films? And isn’t he sort of interesting in real life? Like walks around as a hobo and weird stuff like that??

Since when did talent have anything to do with what roles you get? He was terrible in speed, the rest of his pre-matrix movies are less notable. Anything he gets now is purely because of the celebrity given to him by the Wachoski brothers. He was a good cast for the Matrix, but that doens’t make him a good actor.

Great films? Come on… Yes, he is in many films, but that is hardly a good formula for greatness. Most Hollywood movies made nowadays are watered out and shallow and actors like Keanu Reeves are perfect for movies like that.

Two “quality actors” working their way up to Aggravating status:

Jude Law
Samuel L. Jackson

Dunamis

Jude Law was the perfect slimeball in closer.

Gwyneth Paltrow is pretty annoying now that I think of it.

I have to agree with Sarah Michelle Gellar …she drives me bananas.

Tom Cruise…I have no idea what people see in him. I don’t think he’s remotely attractive and I don’t think he could act his way out of a wet paper bag.

I have no beef with Jude Law, but I agree with you on Jackson. In all fairness though, Mace Windu was a mediocre character; there was only so much he could make of it.

…

Also, Keanu may be a little ‘stilted’ but he does not qualify as ‘aggravating’ in my books.

Regards,

James

Keanu is simply a talentless man (whispering every fucking line does NOT make you a good actor) with good PR. He’s not genuinely aggravating, and Bill and Ted go a long way towards compensating for Speed et al.

Mark Hamill - was in a car crash which severely damaged his face and consequently his career. And he has done stuff since star wars…

James,

Jude Law is just way too over-exposed and is playing the smartaleck, smirky, cute-guy too often. When he paired up with the cringer Palthow in that interminable “Sky Captain” movie that was about the limit of it for me. Now when I see him in a trailer I get the “this guy is beginning to aggravate me” feeling, just a bit.

Dunamis

Micheal D, Matt D, Kevin C, and Bruce Lee… for my one line prose.

I know who I’ve listed… but behave yourself now.
