Music, gaming, space and gigahedonism

I was looking into getting into music production, and it feels like musicians are gigahedonists. The DAWs all look like the controls of a space-station, many of these musicians could probably be astronauts if they applied themselves. Then I realized that space is gigahedonism as well, look at all the space junk in space… humans are very trashy. They pollute and produce but do not clean after themself. Very immature primitive dysfunctional species. The amount of space junk is extreme and is a safety hazard to astronauts.

People act like space is progress, the reality is Elon Musk doesn’t even have enough money to get anyone to Mars.

NASA’s current rough estimate for sending humans to Mars is around $500 billion to $1 trillion for a few initial missions spread over several decades.

.

Elon believes that he can, theoretically reduce the cost to only 100 billion.. He has 500 billion dollars but I doubt most of it is liquid, I doubt he even has 100 billion liquid dollars.

.

Now in terms of music we have all these musicians, hustle culture hipsters and Genz trying to monetize their music and copyright it, eventually there will be no more unique melodies and it all will be copyrighted. Already we ran out of unique chord progressions, and chords are not considered legally copyrightable. We ran out of unique beat types as well. We will eventually run out of unique melodies. The equation 12^16 is wrong. There are twelve possible notes and a 4/4, however, only 7 are used (ABCDEFG). Then, many of these notes will be half notes. Furthermore, notes are not random, there are only a limited amount of note combinations which flow with the chords and beat and sound good. Therefore the amount of melodies is going to be significantly less than 7^16, maybe only 7^12 or 7^6 (117,649).

Now in terms of gaming its a bit of an issue. Imagine if someone is born a few years ago or a decade ago and the dystopia they will enter by being a Generation Alpha (born 2010 to 2024). Imagine being a kid but the first Mario Kart you play is Mario Kart World, and the first Zelda you play is BOTW… very strange and odd. Worse than this is the overpopulated state of stores resulting in selection fatigue and overabundance fatigue. I don’t know how someone could remain human when stores look like this:

Look how soulless and chaotic this all looks.

Now compare this to early Xbox aesthetic:

.

People like Mr. Authoritarian wish for the world to be even more overpopulated though, and wish for everyone to have large families, so that population will be 80 billion. However, they also wish for no globalism, but it is unclear what that means. Does that mean you have to physically travel to Japan to play Japanese games? I don’t really understand.

You know what’s freaking ironic? People who say America First, and then they’re not Earth First.

The least they could freaking do is warn us in advance via all social media and otherwise media so that we can see the pretty stuff in the sky AS it’s happening.
