You shouldn’t read Wikipedia on Nietzsche. I recommend trying any work by Laurence Lampert on him, though I must say they’re all flawed gems. His _Leo Strauss and Nietzsche_, for example—which will also educate you on _Strauss_—, has received two amendments from yours truly:

[The Ideal of the One Who Paves the Way.](https://forum.philosophynow.org/viewtopic.php?p=611201#p611201)

[The Difficulty Inherent in the Philosophy of the Will to Power.](https://forum.philosophynow.org/viewtopic.php?p=726551#p726551)

You could also try Heinrich Meier’s _What Is Nietzsche’s Zarathustra?_ (‘prequel’) and _Nietzsche’s Legacy_ (sequel), but those are really quite difficult.

Which philosophers _do_ you know (or think you know) something about? And how would you summarize your philosophical position?
