A table, a physical representation of unconscious existence, has no grasp on time. A dog, a physical representation of the subconscious, has no grasp of time. You tell me, what part of mind has a grasp of time if those two do not. (It’s pretty obvious)
Time doesn’t happen in dreams you imbecile, which is why we SET ALARMS to wake us up. What a fool.
Hahahahaha why do dreams have plots, why do things happen in them.
Dear dear, this is… Do you need time explained to you?
Or is it like just too inconvenient for the like the crazy cloud of collective singularity within which all is nothing and we all don’t happen.
HAhahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you can set alarms in waking consciosness too what?=??? Hahahahaha
I’m not going to discus any longer with someone with such a low aptitude of comprehension. Have better things to do.
Yes, you’d be well advised not to.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Hey guys PZR is a genius, he knows better than Carl Jung apparently. hahahahahahahahaha
“The unconscious has no time. There is no trouble about time in the unconscious. Part of our psyche is not in time and not in space. They are only an illusion, time and space, and so in a certain part of our psyche time does not exist at all.”
- Carl Jung
If that “manifesting” consciousness that you return to when you cease interacting with reality — is more real than this level of reality — then you don’t cease interacting with reality — you level up…
And I restate my question. Why would someone who levels up cease interacting with reality if they are currently interacting with reality right now?
If the higher level of reality is subsuming the lower level of reality why didn’t it always stay in the higher level? Could it be that the higher level is actually the lower level because it enables “manifestation” of the entire point of existence (self=other)?
But not a point that is infinitely small. A singularity that is whole. We can return to it before death when we choose according to self=other.
That way we’re already dead!!! @Ecmandu let’s blow this joint!
Yes, well, taking a guy seriously that would say this is probably where you went wrong to begin with.
Not in time and not in space.
Woooooow.
Deep.
Except when I wake up, I remember what I dreamed, sort of, the actions that happened in a timeframe, what time I went to sleep, what time I woke up. Sometimes, in my dream I see clocks.
So was Jung just an idiot or what?
Yeah, probably.
Like Artimas here, probably too eager to force magic to happen even if it doesn’t exist. Propped up by the actual genius of Freud, who was a million times more hesitant to declare anything about the subconscious.
By the way, Artimas, I would dissuade you from quoting “masters” as a way of making a point that you cannot formulate yourself.
More for you than for me.
I have already formulated it myself, you’re just an idiot and can’t understand what is being said lol.
Oh yeah?!? Then why did you quote Jung then?!
You are trying to rob Ecmanad of escape is what you’re doing.
Consciousness is self evident to us all right here right now. Nothingness is not. Nor has it ever been produced or witnessed by anyone.
Well I’ll let you write your testament then, gaddamn.
It isn’t really more or less “real”, the illusion is in the separate-ness of being. The imagination is just as real as reality to be clear if you define “real” as existence of an experience to be had. There isn’t a lower level or higher level of reality, reality is just made up of a collection of variables reacting with other variables that eventually spawn things on varying states of consciousness.
In a sense, we are already dead, the conscious just hasn’t caught up with the events yet. To the subconscious and unconscious aspects of reality, yes, since there is no recognition or perception of time. To perceive time, one must be conscious. If this was not the case, apes and tables would have been stating their ages since they dawned on the world.
To show I am not the only one who has come to the conclusion that the unconscious has no perception of time. Truth is often arrived at by individual mind only to find others have arrived there as well, in their own uniqueness.
Artimas, I don’t have to percieve the Sun after it set to know it’s there, or to bathe in its light.
Don’t you think being so quick to equate “percieve” with “exist” might be one of those shoddy thinking habits that might have got you to the mess of a spider’s web your thinking has become?
Hm. You quoted a bland statement. “There is no time.” To back up a bland statement you made. “There is no time.”
At no point was an actual argument made.
To your credit, btw, because such an argument would be selfevidently absurd.
