As my exploration into the political arena continues, and I hear more of Ron Paul’s positions and questions directed towards him, mention of the North American Union and a NAFTA superhighway keep coming up.
There are many who claim this is a conspiracy (including Newsweek, who recently put out an article about how Ron Paul is simply wrong about the NAFTA superhighway), and that Ron Paul is a nutcase for believing it.
Well, let’s get a few things straight. First off, if one is to believe Ron Paul is a nutcase for believing it, then one also can throw Lou Dobbs in the nutcase pile, which might be easy for most folks (I don’t know enough about politics to know who these individuals are supported by).
Secondly, as a skeptic, I still had my doubts about whether which side to fall on. It seems a lot of people don’t want to believe it, and understandably so. Here are a few good places to start:
Looks to me like some convincing evidence that we are really moving towards a North American Union, a different currency, etc. Just wanted everybody else’s thoughts on the matter.
So it’s the “liberals” who want a North American Union? How touching.
Now here I always thought that we wouldn’t have even had the WTO and NAFTA without unanimous Republican support over the Opposition of all Liberals!
Oh, gosh, my bad, Hillary and Bill wanted the WTO and NAFTA, and according to Neocons they are extreme Liberals. Must explain that in both the House and Senate confirmation was a close thing with a large majority of Liberals in opposition.
I say let’s just open all borders and force all other countries to do the same. To have true globalization people should be as free to move around as money.
