The bible says, God (or nature if you want) provides. The air we breathe. Elements combine to form water we drink. A bird finds worms or seeds for its sustenance. My question: in times of war, does nature provide the men. What I’m trying to say is has anyone studied or observed male births in populations, for example male births this year might be 6 males per one female and 18 years from now, there may be some war or conflict in any part of the world. What do you think?

I think that “nature provides” is wishful fantasy and a logical fallacy as well. The hope is that since we are alive now in the abundance of nature, natue will somehow maintain these conditions for us indefinitely. But what if asteroid 2004 MN4 (Apophis) wipes out California in 2036? Won’t that be provided by nature also?

good thought, but i don’t think it happens, at least not in the respect of male to female births.
take a look at the following:
http://www.gprd.com/whygprd/birthbygender.asp
male births have been pretty consistently higher than females since 1991 and since. 1990 was probably the anomoly, not the norm. while we were in some sort of wartime, during the early 1990’s increase in overall births, one could just as easily explain it via the economy, or even other factors.
i see no abnormal statistic to give evidence to any sort of natural provision of males or even births during heavier war times.
Women should have global control - i trust them more than myself.
