need help remembering something from plato about love/soul

is there not a section in plato, possibly the republic, where love is related to the sould remeberance of its own perfection or something like that… or in other terms that love is the soul’s remeberance of the perfection of God… could anyone clue me into the passage of plato that i’m trying to remember???

I think the neo-Platonist Plotinus says something like that in his Ennead, part six.

i’m thinking now, what i was refering to was the 'myth of UR" in book X of “The Repulic”… aletheia

well if you couldn’t answer my question maybe you can learn something from it cause i did…
