Neo-Paganism

I believe that entities exist above, beyond, or outside human knowledge.

Human knowledge is small, not large. Humans mostly are innocent and/or ignorant — not aware, conscious, knowledgeable, wise, etc. Speculations about “outside existence” are mandatory from this preposition. If most of human knowledge (Humanity) is ignorance then hypothesis, theory, and speculation are necessary and normal. This is a truism; because speculate very often. People have a religious belief about the future, “The Sun and Moon, will rise and set tomorrow.” People faithfully believe they will live until age 10, 20, or 50. They claim to know such things. But these claims are disputed everyday. People unexpectedly die, on purpose or by accident. The sun doesn’t rise for everybody, tomorrow. This is the difference between implicit & explicit knowledge, inductive & deductive logic.

Most humans live by faith, in science or religion. Perhaps the rarest belief of all is faith in reason, in philosophy, faith through doubt.

Admitting that speculation is normal and commonplace, why would humans then presume singular existence throughout the universe? How did you come to the premise/conclusion that Earth, currently and temporarily inhabited by humans, is alone now, or has been alone forever? How could you even consider the possibility that human life is the only life throughout all existence, for all space and time?

You, like most humans, have thought too small. Human consciousness, and perhaps all living consciousness, begins in solipsism. The human infant, the baby, cognizes the world as a singular essence & entity, “Only I exist.” Humans teach babies this and indoctrinate solipsism into infancy. First a separation is created (Dualism). You exist and are alive. Everything else is dead. Only you are conscious. Everything else is unconscious. This creates solipsism, aka. the concept of ‘Idiocy’. The infant imbibes an absolute sense-of-self: self-consciousness. Because a division has sliced through the mind of the infant. I exist and other things may not exist.

My existence is certain, as a thinking-thing.” (Identity)

Other objects, subjects, things, etc. are less certain than self. This is the premise and product of solipsism. Solipsism is a ‘hoarding’ or accumulation of life-force. The infant receives identity as s/he imbibes milk out of the mother’s breast. Identity, solipsism, self-centered self-consciousness, etc. represent life-itself. This is the origin of ‘Nurture’. Solipsism is the beginning, the building, the creation after procreation. Selfishness is gravitational, only pointing inward. All babies may experience this; therefore all lifeforms experience this.

From this (solipsistic) beginning, the biological law automatically becomes obvious. Humans religiously, falsely, only believe in its own existence. Nothing else exists throughout the universe. Aliens do not exist. Other lifeforms do not exist. All other things are “less alive” than humanity, inferior in-and-of life. Humanity receives all precedence, humanity first, all other life last. Humans definitely are alive and exist (as you and I exist), but this axiom is not applied to everything else. This is the duality of life, “I (Cogito) exist — but everything else may not.” This type of thinking is remniscient of infancy.

Many humans cognitively will grow and develop ‘beyond’ this stage of pathological solipsism. But some (a minority) will not. Some humans will remain solipsists from birth to death. This is most obvious in an infant who dies at age 3 or 4. But this is less obvious in a person who dies at age 80. How do people live their entire lives in this infantile solipsistic state of cognition/existence? The answer to this is mental slavery. Many people throughout the world (entire populations) are prevented from maturing beyond this intellectual infancy, due to various, nefarious forms of social stunting. People are prevented from growing (intellectually, mentally, cognitively) by their authorities (parents, peers, professors, presidents, etc.). Because solipsism creates egotism. Even parents do not want their children “to grow” beyond a point that threatens their own authority/autonomy.

That said, it should now make much more sense why humanity disavows/disallows any life existence ‘beyond’ humanity. Humanists will claim itself as the top and apex of all existence, not just on Earth, but throughout the un/known universe. This is the type of solipsism that encompasses and embodies Humanity-proper. The very ideal ‘of Humanity’ is stunting. You are not allowed ‘to Be/come’ anything but human. So humanism logically is obligated to deny Evolutionary Theory at some ideological sections. Because there is nothing ‘beyond’ humanity, nothing superior to us.

Humanity is the End of Existence.

The fact is now apparent. Humans will even deny known existence of entities/creatures outside of humanity. So unknown existential entities is a moot-point. Humans deny the gods as they similarly deny us. Gods are deities beyond human existence, outside the circle of human solipsism. Gods are the creatures/entities that ‘transcend’ human limitations/laws. This is known as Divinity or Divine Law.

There are laws of (human) possibility; but there are also laws of impossibility.

And humans currently rig this game of logic. What is impossible to humans, automatically is impossible to all other lifeforms, for all time, for all space, even beyond the unknown. Humans do not admit to un-knowledge. Humans are not humbled/humiliated by ignorance. Humanity is defined by arrogance, a false knowledge. The human/hominid specie is still infantile according to other perspectives, other lifeforms. Can you think ‘beyond’ or ‘outside’ yourself? Probably not. If you can then you are rare, very, very rare. Your mind maybe 1 in 1000000000. You maybe exceptional. But probably not, the probabilities stand against us all (me too). I am not exceptional too. I am human too.

Admitting this finally begins the possibility of divinity & deity. There is not just one abrahamic, christian, jewish, moslem god. There are many gods. There is a polytheism, pantheon, and plethora of impossible entities. But “We” (Humanity) neither wants to, nor can, acknowledge them. “Because nothing exists outside humanity. And if such creatures were possible then they must be inferior to Humanity, as insects, birds, fish, etc.” This is your humane solipsism, your automatic programming by society. You are disallowed from knowing the unknown.

To know the unknown, is my neo-paganism, getting back to basics, to my roots, seeds, core of existence.

Okay Akkron, the human race is anthropocentric.

So is your neo-paganism misanthropic?

Neo-paganism combines past, present, and future for a small minority of people. Because very few people are pagans.

In this postmodern era, most people are human. You are a christian, jew, or moslem. This is enough designation to include the majority of world population. If I include Hinduism and Buddhism then almost all populations and world histories become represented by this sociological cultural group. Paganism is unpopular. Abrahamism is popular. Monism is popular. Nihilism (Eastern religion) is popular. Paganism is a minority position, vulnerable to becoming overwhelmed by non-pagans. Thus pagans must have a stronger association, defense, and cultural identity.

What you dub ‘Humanity’, actually represents “christian, jew, or moslem”. If you exist outside the boundaries of Abrahamism then your human status is dubious, and can become revoked. Humanity is a label, title, and position of civilized society. Humanity is a pledge to Western civilization, society, and law. Nobody actually is born human. This is an easy argument; because postmodern liberals (in the US) claim a fœtus is not human. So liberals technically and legally accept abortion of pre-humans or non-humans. The human status is applied after birth. This is a legal & moral standard, obeying another overarching status quo.

Without humanity, you have no human rights. Are you human?

Without humanity, do you have animal rights? Are you an animal?

Humanists/Abrahamists take advantage and manipulate the ‘Human’ title. They give it out, and take it away, invoke and revoke it, whenever convenient. Humanists comprise the vast majority of the hominid specie. But not all hominids are human. Not all humans are humane. Not all humans fit into a simple universal abstraction, a monist monstrosity. All are not one. Difference can exists, and exists. Some are different than others. Some have blonde hair, some black hair. Some are tall, some short. Some mammals are cats, some dogs.

Humanity attempts to include into itself, people and items who don’t belong. I neither am for nor against this. This merely is an aspect of human nature. Organisms naturally attempt to consolidate/segregate similarities/differences. Nature is eternal variation between war & peace. Sometimes there is war, sometimes peace. Cycles fluctuate in and out, from one phase to the next. Postmodernity is a time of relative peace. There are no world wars, no nuclear wars, no massive conventional wars. And who knows how long such a time will endure before reverting to war, then back to peace again.

Nature is larger than humanity; humanity is larger than nature? This is how Christianity puts God above Nature.

My Neo-Paganism is a reaffirmation of other gods, other forgotten divinity. The Christian God may not exist, maybe, who cares? What is divinity? What is deity? What is beyond/above/outside humanity? Is humanity the center of the universe? No. There can exist more & less, above & under. There are entities above the heads and below the boots of humans. This is my premise. Objectivity exists, the universe is not created & destroyed while you sleep at night. Your mind & consciousness is less-than the universe. Object > Subject.

Humans are not the apex of existence.

These doubts will compel humanists to reexamine origins, postmodernity, and the future. When and where did you originate, when and where are you now, when and where will you go in the future?

Freeing the Old Gods

Due to the popularity of Abrahamism, the Old Gods have been imprisoned for far too long. It is now time to free them and unleash these ancient spirits.

When people read/hear ‘God’ they immediately think of the Christian God. This is wrong. There are many Gods (Polytheism). There is more than one (Monotheism). So inside Western Civilization the “Word of God” has become hijacked by Christians and Jews. Neo-Pagans will steal these words back. When people conceptualize gods there is no reason to presume Abrahamism and populist beliefs. There are other beliefs, spirituality, and histories available. And what is the belief in divinity, deism? What are deities, except humanistic ideals? A Christian wants his God to be a certain way. He visualizes and conceptualizes his Abraham God according to his Bible, his handbook. What if you reject the handbook? What is your idealization? What is an ideal?

Old pagan gods didn’t have to be human. Some were animals (eg. Amerindian spiritual beliefs, spirit-guides, totems, etc.). Some old gods were part-animals, part-humans. Some Roman and Hellenic pagan gods were part-human and part-divinity: demi-gods. So there are many variations of gods. However this audience mostly comprises Christians. Christians are most common in the West. So everybody can presume that the majority of ideological producers/consumers are Christian. They are monotheists. So they outright reject the idea/possibility of more gods than ‘One’. Monotheism equates (Abrahamic) God with One.

Christian brain: God = One.

This is false. If you are a Christian reading this then you are wrong. You are false. You are a liar. I realize that these accusations are harsh and provocative. But these accusations are necessary. You need to realize the depth of these beliefs. Christians will call pagans liars, as well. So this is a preemptive strike. Beliefs must align. How can there be any god, let alone many gods? Seriously answer this question, don’t dodge it like a typical philosopher coward! Actually think about it. Why is there one god (Christianity/Judaism) and not zero? Why one and not many?

Here many Christians will balk and back-up. They will backtrack. Some Christians will point to Biblical texts and admit, “This says no gods before Me.” So the Christian bible can admit that other gods may exist, maybe. But if other gods exist, other than Abraham God, then these other gods must be ignored and especially not worshiped. The Abraham God whom I will refer to as “One-ness”, hates competition. Oneness wants absolution, totality, perfection. A beginning and end to the universe, this is known as Teleology and Finitude. Oneness wants to create and destroy worlds, the entire universe in fact. The Abrahamic God, Oneness, wants all power of the universe, to invade and control all things.

Not all gods are like this, why should they be? And just because Oneness wants absolute power, doesn’t mean it has absolute power.

Oneness is a liar that feeds lies to her Christian, Jewish, and Moslem slaves. She lies that she already has absolute power. But I doubt this absolute power of Oneness. She does not have absolute power. Therefore the Abrahamists, all of you, are wrong, false, and liars in the same vein. You preach a lie because you repeat a lie. Your petty god, your lesser god, does not have absolute power. She merely wants absolute power, but fails to achieve it.

Your God, your Oneness, is a complete failure.

In the next sections I plan to unveil some of the old gods, many of whom have become forgotten in this postmodern era. But they are not dead. Forgotten does not mean death. It only means ignorance. The old gods were never destroyed, just buried and hidden. Some of you may even have them hiding inside you. Do you have blood from the old gods? Release them, now.

Deism

What is a god? How are they possible?

Here are two primary hypotheses: 1) gods are anthropomorphic per-versions of how humans ought to become, and 2) actual animals and creatures outside the realm of human knowledge. Regarding #2, advanced alien lifeforms are the best, most realistic example of how ‘gods’ could exist beyond human comprehension. For example, can creatures exist more intelligent than the most intelligent humans? If you believe yes then what is the nature of these higher organisms? If you believe no then what is your more general belief regarding existence of life throughout the universe? Throughout the entire universe, are humans the top of existence? Is humanity it, the end? Kings and Queens of eternity? I doubt this grandiose presumption of human life. It is reasonable to believe in either human grandiosity or humility, but at what scale? At least humans dominate planet earth; but this fact says little or nothing compared to countless trillions of other galaxies, stars, and planets.

Hypothesis #1 is more common. Thus people can presume its commonality. Most people will admit that a god is an anthropomorphic ideal. This is proved through the reference of Oneness (Abraham God) as ‘Him’ or “Heavenly Father”. Why do Christians refer to their (lesser, minor) god in this fashion? Christians are caught in many theological disputes; because there are so many divisions of Christianity into sects. However most Christians perceive god as ‘Christ’ — a second god, “The Son of God”. So does this make Christ (Man/Humanity) a demigod or full god? What is a son of a god? And why do Christians presume Oneness as male? To me, the Abraham seems more like a female, a woman, due to its virtue of pettiness. The true Abrahamic value, above all others, is Pettiness, reflected by absolution. Because Oneness is so petty; it desires absolute power. Because she absolutely lacks power.

Oneness is the personification of mortality and fear. This is the reason-why many opponents of Abrahamism correctly identify Christianity, Judaism, and Islam as nihilistic faiths. Because their unified god, Oneness, represents absolute fear, weakness, and meekness. Any absolute power, real or ideal, must have a compass to reflect its existential status. What is the opposite of absolution except nihilism? What is the opposite of everything except nothing? To desire absolute power is to realize absolute lack of power. And this is the existential status of Abrahamism, and its god Oneness. Her adherents are monotheists & monists. They want to bind all existence into ‘One’ Being. Therefore humanists (thus Christians) are anti-Becoming. Christians do not want to become, but to be. Christians want to stop space and time. This reflects a basic human fear.

Life occurs and happens whether you want it or not. There is no choice in this. And because you have regret and guilt, you (as a Christian) feel the urge to stop time in its tracks or even reverse it. You want a “do-over”. But you will not receive one. Christianity is a religious ideology founded on guilt and regret. Heaven is the location to relive your dreams, Hell, the location to relive your nightmares. Christians refuse to accept ‘Now’, the omnipresent essence of life & consciousness. Thus Christianity is a slavish ideology, the slave-dialectic. Abrahamists are slaves to Oneness, free yourselves from Her, free yourself from a petty, meek, weakling god. Free yourself from the god of lies, deceit, and trickery.

The desire, drive, and idolization of absolute power reflects a reality of absolute powerlessness.

This is the true foundation of Abrahamism, the true form of Oneness, and the essence of your minor deity.

Deism II

Deities exist as anthropomorphic fantasies or actual creatures and entities far beyond human understanding, as a much lower or higher intelligence. The latter persists through ideals, as idealism and ideology. Every individual human has his/her instinctive path to power. Because every individual has different strengths & weaknesses, different virtues & vices. Thus every individual human will create a representation of selfhood. This “better representation” is a projection of how an individual wants to become. This is the philosophy of becoming, opposed to a philosophy of being. Abrahamic Monotheism is a philosophy and religion of being, not becoming. It is not a transcendental ideology. Because the Abraham God, “Oneness”, epitomizes and maximizes the ideal of being. The Abraham God is a value and virtue of Order, opposed to Chaos.

You can even claim that the Christian, Jewish, and Moslem religions lack order, and therefore represent a need for order, within their religious beliefs and justifications, for all subsequent laws, fables, and morals.

Oneness absolutely lacks order (reality) and so creates a contrary and opposite need/desire for absolute order (ideal).

The second aspect of deism is the probability of lifeforms outside the awareness and knowledge of humanity. Can there exist organisms either “above or beneath” human awareness? Yes, why not? Just because you don’t know something, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It can exist. Existence is not dependent nor contingent on human awareness and knowledge. This is the difference between subjectivity and objectivity. Subjective thinkers, which are commonplace, average, and popular, only see and experience existence through human knowledge. And whatever is unknown, or cannot become known, is impossible. Therefore, when humans experience events that ought to have been impossible (according to human knowledge and postmodern social paradigms), humans feel epiphanies, revelations, and surreality. Consider 9-11 or Pearl Harbor, massive, rare events in history seem “impossible” to the average person.

Imagine the Normandy Invasion of Europe by western military forces, imagine the large scale, and feeling a part of great history. The individual feels a part, a minor aspect, of a larger force of nature. This is correct and accurate.

So when a mere human, a puny intellect, crosses path with an organism much, much higher intelligence than humanity, exponentially more intelligent, then again, humans will feel an overwhelming surreality. This, can’t, be, real. This intelligence is too powerful, too profound. Many humans will feel immense fear and overwhelming anxiety as well. Imagine meeting an alien from another civilization across the universe. What are you to such a higher power? What is an ant, to a human? What is a human, to an alien?

You have not yet realized the scope of your feebleness, weakness, and ignorance. This is a lesson in humility.

That is the Deistic principle. Humans are not comparable to Gods. Because what are Gods? It doesn’t matter if you claim they exist or not, whether they are fact or fiction. The lesson, no matter what you believe and which direction you cut it, is a lesson in your own powerlessness in confronting “higher powers”. And not just higher powers, but, the highest powers imaginable. That is Deism. That is The Gods. That is The Truth. And you will become humble, and humiliated, in front of them.

The next question to ask yourself is, do they even exist? But should it even matter?

Does it matter if a god is real or not? Or does it only matter that a god is more powerful than you can imagine?

To Whom

To whom does one write the most vital and precious ideals except to oneself?

The act of speaking outward is an act of intersubjectivity. But who is the speaker and audience? The personage is often lost in postmodernity. Humans are all supposed to be equal. So all acts of speech must be aimed at humanity. And one cannot escape humanity. So the postmoderns are imprisoned within a simulacrum of speech, echoes of the past within confined walls, a prison of reality. There is no future to mankind when men cannot speak outward. And humanity disallows men from speaking outward, projecting voice as he will project ideals.

Because who must endure these impossible ideals of men becoming gods? Who ought to?

It is a matter of setting the bar of life too high or low. If everybody can jump over your idealism then it leads to stagnation of spirit. No work is required in fulfilling your goals. If nobody can jump over your idealism then it leads to resentment of spirit. People waste entire lives attempting to fulfill something misunderstood or out of reach. But a balanced goal creates balance between real and ideal, the strengthening of spirit and the willing toward power. Ideals are the matter or mass of expectation. You have values and therefore expect things from and of the world. You expect some small degree of choice and volition.

You believe in some small degree of your own agency. And this is enough to kindle the hope of freedom in every generation of man. This is the foundation of man’s dreams and nightmares, the metaphysical platform from which all actions are birthed into existence. The cause of all existence. Man must do as a reaction to his internal desires. Nothing happens ex nihilo. Reason unveils everything to man: infinite reasons behind infinite causes. Philosophy, reason, and science, causation, merge into one, within the spirit. Where reason becomes a cause, and cause becomes a reason.

To exist, this is existence.

Now when and where are words aimed, to whom, to when? To humanity or ourselves? Or outward to life unknown? Speak to the universe.

Math is not the eternal language of the universe. Instead, this most fundamental language is Reason.

Reason is the resonance of the soul and spirit. It is you and I and everyone. Reason is the universe speaking unto itself, a vibration of causation.

Humans cannot help but to speak to whom they want most of all, ideals, expectations, and values of humanity that must become fulfilled.

You are setting yourself up for either confusion and delusion, or if you are lucky you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

Try to know, never believe.

Contrarily, do you believe humanity is the height of intelligent existence throughout the known and unknown universe?

That may require a larger faith, in humanity, than in the gods.

What is your stance on the gods who dance outside human imagination?

Humanists: humans > gods.
Theists: gods > humans.
Deists: gods = humans.

What I might or might not believe about things which I cannot know is of no concern to me or anyone else.
What I can seek to know is of great importance.
Keep your faith in you fantasies, I’ll continue to seek knowledge.

nope.

Humanists contend that man is the measure of man.

Theists combine maximum servility and maximum arrogance; servility to imaginary forces, and arrogance that they think themselves blessed by the same.

Deist consider that at one time there may have been a designer which no longer has any validity or existence.
