It looks like to me, the two candidates will be john mccain
for the GOP and Russ Feingold for the demo’s.
I don’t think hilary clinton will win the nomination for the
demo’s. And VP for demo’s will be wesley clark,
ex general and maybe rudy for VP, but don’t know for sure.

The moralizing repubs will MAKE it an issue, whether or not it is. Look at what they did to Kerry’s service in Viet Nam. Feingold doesn’t respect the sanctity of marraige and you want him to lead your country?!?!?!? Godlessness.
The kids, they are good kids. But they are political activists, particularly the son. They are left-leaning by the standards of the People’s Republic of Madison (WI). This isn’t a bad thing, but the Repubs would MAKE it a bad thing.
Also, I know his son lived in the Jewish Co-op. I’m not sure if he’s Jewish, but with a name like Feingold, there is a good chance he is. Again, the Repubs could make a BIG issue out of that.
For Democrates, none of these are big deals. Frankly, if the democrates grew a pair of balls, they would run him and let him handle the repub bulldogs. Frankly, I think he could weather the storm. But, mainstream Dems won’t see that.

cant we just brutally kill all of the people who think that it matters the tiniest slightest bit (in a bad way) that he is divorced and has activist children? cause i think its actually good. i also thought kerry protesting the horrible, wrong vietnam war was good. but apparently it actually meant that he hates our troops. and he is a ‘flip flopper’ which i always just thought we should refer to as ‘critical, yet temporarily gullible, thinker’.

That is exatically what this country needs. Not someone who is willing to compromise for the sake of compromising so they don’t alienate anyone (cough current dems cough), or someone who won’t compromise on principle (cough neo-cons cough). Someone who stands up for what they believe, and aren’t willing to compromise their integrity while still being able to see the other side and meet in the middle.
