I’m new, too! I don’t expect a welcome though. 
I do check this forum everyday however. It’s one of the best philosophy forums I’ve found thus far. The environment here seems friendly, so that’s good enough for me! I must warn you, I don’t have a degree in philosophy and I only have a seventh grade education (I’m 21, quit school at 13 because of a horrible family life blah, blah, blah) so pardon me if I come off as stoopid.
