New York Mayoral Election

Sure believe whatever American warmonger fascists on television tell you to believe, I’m done arguing about it.

I already said it wasn’t ONLY bush behind 9-11. And the US had trained Islamic militants (including Osama) starting in 1979, its not farfetched that they gave them more training later on.

The Flat Earth agenda, in my opinion, is to discredit other conspiracy theories. Trying to brainwash people, specifically the Truther demographic, so they can say the earth is flat, and thus discredit themselves and thus make other conspiracies look less plausible to normies.

If it serves as consolation, Sculptor, this is not only the case in NY or the USA, it’s a world phenomenon, the political “debate” is guided by emotion only.

I think the only ones rid of this are those who live in countries such as New Zealand, Danmark, Canada, Australia.

The problem with conspiracy theories, no matter how farfetched, is exactly that: the conspirationist repeats them so often it becomes a truth, an unquestionable truth. The moon landing is a notorious example. Some guys WON’T believe it ever happened, no matter what you say. They have transfigured the facts of reality in their mind. There, they are protected from a world which tries, at all costs, to delude and lie to them.

The absolute majority, if not all, of such “theories” are sheer lunacy.

CTs rely on ignorance. If you ask a Moon skeptic why did they fake it?
Then follow up with why did they fake it SIX TIMES Apollo 11-17? Why did they fake a failure Apollo 13. You learn that they had no idea how many missions there were. THen ask them how many people were involved across the board on all systems and supporting industries that were all paid for nothing - around 250k people all told. The died-in-the-wool idiots double down and invent something to cover their idiocy.

For me it is a simple fact that it would have been much harder to keep a thing like that secret than actually just go to the Moon.

I think the biggest problem here is that there are real conspiracies. And these can get hidden under counter accusations of “just a conspiracy theory”.

The worst are the silent one that are more like a systemic alignment of incentives.
The Food Pyramid looks less like a grand conspiracy and more like a case of powerful interests all pulling in the same direction. Grain and corn industries had a lot to gain from pushing carbs, and government guidelines reflected that—not because of secret deals, but because those voices were loud, organized, and profitable. Food companies loved it too, since processed carbs are cheap and easy to sell. Scientists and media, often funded by these same players, went along with the story, and over time it became accepted truth. No one had to lie in a dark room; the system just naturally favored the story that kept money and influence flowing, and made it hard for anyone to say otherwise.

Yes I agree.

But why is it you believe that food-pyramid is the only Conspiracy? I believe that its you believe people are a certain level of good, and that politicians and leaders wouldn’t resort to terrorism and treason. That is why you believe in only the Food Pyramid but not other conspiracies. Because the Food Pyramid is just people being greedy or malicious assholes, but not full blown terrorist traitors.

I do not believe it is a conspiracy - not in the way you mean.
It works as a conspiracy because there is no come-back

But if you seriously think that elements of the US government were capable of bringing about 9/11 and covering it up - well that is just fucking stupid.

On the Moon landings the difficulties in spending a single dollar of governent money is more difficult that going to the damn moon, let alone faking it. THe US cannot even win a war - how the hell do you think they managed to pull this off?? LOL

DOGE has recently been shown to be an abject failure because Musk and his cohort of spotty-teen hackers are utterly clueless about how government mney is allocated. They found ZERO corruption. The expenses and inefficiencies of government departmental spending the result of the stritness and scrutiny of every dollar.; not because of corruption.
Musk has retreated after claiming to save a trillion he managed to cut maybe 10 billion and much of the axe has had to be reversed because he cut vital services.
He’s done more harm than good and time will only tell how much this is all going to cost the US government in the long run.

So you do not believe in conspiracies, that is what I believe.

You do not believe that it is possible for humans to form small groups and keep a secret. You believe it violates physics or something…

The usa has won several wars.

  • American Revolutionary War (1775–1783)
The U.S. gained independence from Great Britain.
  • Mexican–American War (1846–1848)
Resulted in significant territorial gains for the U.S., including present-day California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and parts of Colorado and New Mexico.
  • Spanish–American War (1898)
The U.S. defeated Spain, gaining control of Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines.
  • World War I (1917–1918, U.S. involvement)
The Allied Powers, including the U.S., defeated the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, etc.).
  • World War II (1941–1945, U.S. involvement)
The U.S. and its Allies defeated the Axis Powers (Germany, Japan, Italy, etc.).
  • American Civil War (1861–1865)
The Union (northern states) defeated the Confederacy (southern states), preserving the United States and ending slavery.
  • First Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm, 1990–1991)
A U.S.-led coalition liberated Kuwait from Iraqi occupation with a decisive military victory.

The war in Iraq was not a formally declared war by the United States. Instead, Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 (AUMF)

Since World War II , the U.S. has not formally declared war but has engaged in numerous military operations and conflicts, with the First Gulf War being the only widely recognized clear-cut victory in that period

I fail to see how this, or the moon landings being fake or real, proves or disproves 9-11 conspiracy theory though.

The Apollo project included upwards of 200k people.
So not a “small” group at all.
People can’t keep secrets that big. A claim that those 6 missions to the Moon did not happen would require a bare faced lie of emence proportions.
The fact is that all of those involved were not just technically involved but emotionally involved and using government money with no direct return.
To claim this as a lie is to completely misunderstand how government money is spent.

What are conspiracies are more likely to be coalsecences fo financial interests.
The “conspiracy” that gave us the low-fat food pyramid which has led us to an epidemic of obesity and type2diabetes was not achieved by a small group of people in a smoke filled room, but the easy accaptance of a POV which serves the interests of the food industry and the pharma industry.
It’s more about a complicity of silence and a muting of critical thinking and objections. Yes men throughout the board rooms and the kick back to politicians chose to remain silent about their doubts as long as the money is right.

America lost the Civil War according to many people.
And the 1st Gulf war was a piric victory against a weaker force, and a complete disaster since they had to repeat the process soon after.
