One of my latest realizations, it’s not that major, but…
It’s the idea that a whole body is more valuable than any isolated part of it.
So for example, some person is only loved for their ability to play good music.
They love the musical part of the person, but the rest has much less value or appeal.
However, it’s a whole system and body which produces memes.
So I applied that idea to sexuality, as I was feeling that this whole sex thing is nonsense.
But, those organs and drives are not as important as the whole system, and do not deserve excessive glory.
Some people in life treat others like “fuck toys”, but I think if we were truly dignified and classy,
we wouldn’t consider sex what it is today, or art, or expression.
It’s only fair that we respect whole bodies and whole lives, instead of cherry picking for the sake of petty amusement.
1 + 1 = 3
Synergy - the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts.
Thus in every which way the whole is always more ‘valuable’ than any or the sum of all the parts.
In another perspective what is significant is the complementarity and interdependence of the individual parts that make the whole that is most critical.
As for sex, yes holistic brain and whole self sex is much more fulfilling that merely groin-centered sex. This is entails the involvement of the whole nervous system and the whole physical selves of the participants.
However there would be a trade off and optimal point if we stretch the variable further from this and expect too much.
I think going for a walk down the street is more “good” than “fucking”.
A lot of things are taken for granted.
If I had only 1 arm and 1 leg, i’d sure be upset about it.
That is the kind of message I’m trying to display.
Taking less for granted. It’s quite hard to do, for me.
I probably shouldn’t get too into this… but I will make a comment… there is tremendous sexual immorality in the form of sexual neglect of good behavior here in the world, particularly on the male side, and when one considers the breadth of the fact that most of us are not asexuals and sexually basically accounts for a larger motivational system than money itself, or even perhaps food, and that entire species evolve based upon what gets the most sex, it’s a slightly more contentious issue than you make it to be. I agree, it’s nice to walk.
Darwinism bit you in the bum.
It’s a social justice issue Dan~ the Bonobos don’t fight, they have no war or homicide, they have no sexual stratification and they don’t hyper-select conspicuous consumption aggression. It effected me to the core of being, this understanding of life… you don’t even need Darwinism to make these observations.
It’s darwinism if the bonobos randomly evolve their sexy stuff for a million years or so, and because of random DNA shit.
Well, I have heard of those bono peeps. They are like the hippies of the ape races.
War is a thing of the passed. It’s a disease.

I didn’t read all of this^
I posted it to see if you are familiar with the idea.
It was a good start, but there’s a lot to be desired in that paper. No you only need behaviorism not Darwinism to make this determination.
