What do you think of his interpretation of Nietzsche-as-alchemist? It reads almost like Jung’s discourse on Zarathustra to me. He does get a great deal wrong - Nietzsche was certainly not interested in getting ‘closer to God’ - but it is an interesting spin on things. I would parallel both Nietzsche and Max Stirner’s concept of the-ego-as-non-entity with the Kabbalistic concept of tzadikim, the empty space which God removed himself from in the act of creating the physical universe.
