Nietzsche, Christianitydom and Jesus of the Bible

Nietzsche honestly had no beef with Jesus. He thought him an enlightened spiritualist a la Buddha (I made a thread a while ago about this, though it was largely missunderstood) that was taken advantage of by some power-hungry, resented Jews. Jesus was only stuck on the kingdom of heaven thing (which was a Nirvana thing, not a Paradise thing) because life back then reeaally sucked, specially for those that weren’t at the absolute top of the food chain.

I respect thinkers like CN who follow the psychological archetype of the man Jesus of the Bible. Not inspite of, but more so because it must be distilled from the manipulative Cultists.

The secret of manipulation: to include an element of truth that is exterior to the manipulators.

Is it really so strange to understand Jesus as a Jew? Because life did suck, Jesus kingdom should not be seen, in a nietzschean frame, as anything but another indictment of life as is, as another effect of resentiment.
FN’s relationship to Jesus was complicated to say the least because of this. The complication has happened before and after FN. even in this forum you see complicated relations to the historical figure of Jesus. Certainly like you, many reject the Christian version of Jesus, the mythological Jesus, but project into the unproblematic canvas of the historical figure a Jesus which they can tolerate.
