Honestly, fuck… the article predicts in 5 years time, half the world’s population will be wired into a ID card system capable of doing something similar.
That is all I need, is for all my cash to be at the absolute mercy of the state. For some clever lawyer or judge to put a stop on your funds until a suit is settled 5 years down the road.

I was looking into getting the PayPal and Square credit card readers… one of the YouTube reviewers noted the fine print said they reserve the right, after the transaction, to reach into your account without you knowing and freezing your money if a customer puts a freeze order on your account, even without informing you first… so he recommended having a second business account, and sending all your money once you get it yo the other account so the con artists at PayPal and Square can’t cheat you out of your money.
It is scams like this that the average person will fall prey to if we ever get rid of independent bank accounts, and only have one, accessed via our official Ids.
Blaming this on the Nigerian internet scams is a joke, they will just use a foreign bank account. They are just doing this so every other country will get sucked in.
