Nihilism is a personal relationship and reflection against a chaotic and meaningless universe. Since humans create meaning, then it is not the nihilists who are absurd, but rather everybody else who builds castles out of sand.

It depends on how a person ends that personal relationship, doesn’t it? I can say that living in the face of a nihilistic idealism is absurd and not so much contradictory; besides, whose metaphysical beliefs aren’t absurd nowadays? Do you believe in God? Do you believe in duality/singularity? Do you believe in life-after-death? Do you believe in a subjective or objective world?
