I truly odd story. 
There was a similar story in the US where a man had killed his sick mom and then himself. This was in a heavily populated neighborhood and no one heard the shots and no one missed him or his mom. Then more than a year later a pipe broke and that when the authorities were called.
It’s a good lessen about what can happen to isolated people.
Curious about his missing landlord too. Who ever owns or is in charge of that building did not check? German property owners must be pretty laid back about payments or am I missing something?
