The articles in the links present wild theories with no basis in reality. Why would a shorter lifeform require more brain resources to body control? That makes no sense. The human eye has a fixed resolution. Why would Neanderthal eye control require 40 percent more resources for it, when Sapiens is already using the max amount of resources for it already?
You say you don’t wanna take my word for it, but you took the word of some random scientists who made up some armchair theory in their spare time.

Okay I misread, they argued it was for larger bodies, but still.
Taller people are generally smarter than shorter people. Why would it take 40 percent extra resources for slightly finer motor control and nominally improved eyesight?

Tesla was brilliant, but Isaac Newton was the most brilliant man that has ever lived, so far. He created physics… which Tesla used dealing with electricity and inventing.
He invented calculus and was the first physicist. Tesla used calculus. Tesla was a genius but he isn’t an Isaac Newton. The guy was plugged in. Newton was also born 2 centuries before Tesla.
Newton was good at math. A pioneer at the time period but I don’t think he invented a single thing or discovered anything about the universe. We dont put calculators on pedastals.
I guess they weren’t so obvious considering no one else considered them or their importance in things.
It’s easy to say something is obvious, after you already know it. Go on then, create or discover the next best thing or most important thing. A real discovery, not just an idea without any pull or proof either.
And yes, this was nearly three centuries ago. So it kind of was amazing.
