WTF was he doing with porn?! He should have hacked him just for having it.

Yeah. I mean, the guy is clearly pretty unhinged. Not too many psychologically well-adjusted people smash down doors with swords.
That said, his intentions were incredibly noble, even brave. So it is all about asking: is he more crazy or is he more noble?
