Obam Talks to Us about.....

I mean, he went to try to convince the Olympic Committee to hold the Olympics in Chicago because it would be convenient for him and HE thought it would be cool–convincing them to eliminate Chicago (and the US) from consideration first. He’s 0-3 when campaigning in states for fellow Democrats. Is this now indicative of a trend?

That’s often the case with Presidents when they themselves are unpopular or when things are not going well. Most incumbent Senators, potential Senators/Representatives and Governors didn’t want Bush anywhere near them when they were campaigning either.

Hope and change.

Oh, wait, oops I meant, same old same old. . . .

And he stayed away. Most people don’t want to give an endorsement for a lost cause which he should have known it was going to be in all five cases (counting both failures in Copenhagen). I bet Boxer is standing at the state line with a shotgun. “Aww, c’mon Babs, I need the facetime.”

OMFGPWNED

Anyway, Obama’s rating is at like 50%, which is higher than Congressional Democrats at around 37%, which is higher than Congressional Republicans at around 27%.

The problem with this is that both GWB and Clinton used self-reference far more than Obama.

Not anymore.

Where’d you get that number, and when?

According to Rassuussen today, Obama’s job disapproval has risen to 54%, 41% of which strongly disapprove.
And in Gallup, Congressional disapproval is up to 78% including a 15% increase in the Democrat component in one month.

But this all came to the forefront after Obama’s trip to Copenhagen to advocate the Olympics coming to Chicago by telling them why it would be good for him. Self-justification is only justification for one’s self. Look at the context, and Bush even used self-deprecating humor which is usually lost on outsiders.
