Umm…no. Those guys completely stand no chance to the band they copyright from. Faith No More is legendary.

You’re an FNM fan Huh? Sweet I am a huge FNM fan goin back to 1989 or so.

But no, Sick of It All are the Elder Statesmen of New York Hardcore, and Faith No More was a punk band from San Fran that eventually would go on to forge their own unique sound.

That said, if I had to pick one FNM song (aside from We Care Alot) to sum up this thread,I think it would be this one…

Broadly, yes. Obama will sell the people big state socialism (particularly given the economic mess brought about by the same people who back both Obama and McCain) but in truth it’ll be more corporate subsidy under the guise of a benevolent state.

Obama’s entire campaign is ‘he’s black, so he knows what it’s like for poor black people’ and ‘he is better educated than McCain’. Pathetic, but it might well work.

Hello siatd (do check my new post on criticism):

— Obama will sell the people big state socialism (particularly given the economic mess brought about by the same people who back both Obama and McCain) but in truth it’ll be more corporate subsidy under the guise of a benevolent state.
O- Mc Cain will give corporate subsidies under the guise of capitalist market invigoration, the trickle down effect. So what is the difference other than in narration? McCain sells small govt, just like Bush, yet when Wall Street falls, they become big-govt, just as any democrat. They agree on what govt should do, but disagree on when or how often govt should do this or that.

— Obama’s entire campaign is ‘he’s black, so he knows what it’s like for poor black people’ and ‘he is better educated than McCain’. Pathetic, but it might well work.
O- A poor caricature, I think. If it was true then we are as a nation beyond “stupid”. Black people alone will not win Obama the presidency. And it is not what Obama knows about the black experience (he knows jack-sh@t) but what Katrina-response revealed about it. The Republicans were in power, so now, if the party fails to get black votes it is because it is being punished by blacks not because they identified with Obama in a fundamental way. They would have voted for Joe Biden or Clinton…anyone but the incumbent party. Better educated? That is a fact if university is the level used to compare. Life wise? McCain has more life experience.

They’re the same candidate.

They are two means to the same end, but Obama is much more intelligent, period.

Funny how people expect opposites to run for president. What would the opposite of either candidate be?
