I have a couple of comments. Firstly, women talk about sex more than men. I eavesdrop on conversations almost continually and I’ve found this to be true. Men talk about women’s breasts more than women talk about sex, but it is women who assume that men talking about breasts has something to do with sex. Here we see the underlying assumption of women, that men view them primarily as sexual beings. Why do they assume this? Because that is how they see men…
This is of course all conjecture and generalisation, but I’m trying to demonstrate how easy it is to unintentionally slip into such mistaken practices.
Secondly, women who discuss sex are not cheap. Women of your generation (or basically any woman over the cut off point of about 40 which seems to exist in mass media portrayals of the female) may well be accused of this but that’s either discomfort from stuck up fools or idiots seeking to be controversial. I find that women of my generation are encouraged to be as obvious and stupid with their sexuality (including talking about who they ‘fucked this lad on top of a wheely bin’ at the top of their voice on the back of a public bus at 2 a.m.) as possible and they willingly comply. It’s an easy game because young men these days are brought up to believe that they are the sexual aggressors when in fact it is women playing them for fools all along. The women actually have the power but can pretend at any stage that they don’t.
A metaphor - man is the train, he’s got the muscle but he’ll only go where the tracks lead lest he destroys himself. Woman is the track (I’m borrowing symbolism from a French feminist called Helene Cixous of whom I’m fond) - she doesn’t have the same power as the train but mysteriously has the capacity to direct more power than she has.
I’m just toying with ideas, I’ve no idea what you’ll make of it. I’m certainly not defending angst ridden’s plea for the ladies to keep it quiet on this topic. However this may not be the ideal place (i.e. this particular thread) for such a discussion as new posters wishing to post a pic may be put off by the lesbo lovefest…

I agree with what you said, women do talk about sex more often and they are encouraged to by the media, wtih programmes like sex in the city. Theres nothing wrong with it either, but I get kinda tired of the constant back and forth bantering between all the women. But whatever, it doesnt bother me enough to argue about it.
I dont realy talk about breasts that much, I talk more about arse. And when I do its not relay a sexual thing, its like talking about art. The prefect bum is a beautiful idea. I think you are right. The two age groups interested in sex the most are young men and middle age women. But there is scientific proof as to why. Boys hit their sexual peak around 18-22 and women hit their stride around 40… Probably nature’s way of a cruel joke, but it is true. Young women rarely have the interest in doing it or talking about it.
Their bodies may be perkier, but they don’t have a clue as to what to do with them. The most powerful sexual organ is the brain anyway… so never underestimate the sexual power of an older woman.

Now that is the best question BECAUSE… just because a young male physically is strongest at that age doesn’t mean he will enjoy it any more… a woman who becomes more aware of her g-spot etc. may have a different view at 40 which could be why she is known to be more at her peak. So, are we talking physical or mental peak? Maybe this is what Angel was talking about… in that case. Okay. But from now on, I would like a reason, not just a blanket statement of opinion.
When I was younger I used to be so horny that I had trouble thinking. That is a physical peak, but I’m not sure that it’s an existential peak.

About your comment though, I can certainly see where you’re coming from… as older men are more experienced, as well women are just drawn to older men in the first place.
I think what Bessy was getting at is that a 40 year old knows all the tricks and sexual dohickeys they’ve learned/accumulated over the years… but many 40 year olds are out of shape and lazy. I don’t actually know for sure… but I would bet that the length of time one spends having sex at 40 is way less than at 22ish.
Some women desire quantity over quality.
