With the Nazis, it was political dissent and/or Judaism. With the communists, political dissent and/or reactionism. With “democratic socialists,” it’s “greed” and “violating public interest.”
It all results in armed men forcibly robbing people of their property and commercial opperations, to distribute among their lackies and slowly destroy its value (or, sometimes, as in Nazi Germany, very quickly). The robbed can sometimes go home, other times to a reeducation center, other times to the back yard against a wall, or just vanilla prison.
The united states is a corrupted cesspit, has always been. Everything is in the open from the central bank to the petrol dollar.
I will go further. Not only has there been no economic reform, there has not been any social reform either because you have a uniparty that is playing both sides of the population against eachother.
The ONLY saving grace the USA has is that it maintains a relatively high quality of life for most of its people and citizens have certain inalienable rights compared to other places on the planet. But thats that. Even those are being eroded in tow with the UK and Australia’s bullshit anti free speech and pro censorship laws which are being voted for.
And all of this to say: Nobody is defending the USA or capitalism.
I told you a long time ago that i play no favorites between capitalism and socialism because you are just trying to compare two plates of shit.
It might be a different flavor and presentation of shit and you will be dying from entirely different disease when you eat this compared to that, but its still 2 plates of shit.
It’s a high standard of living here but only if you can afford it. The poorest of the poor here have a living standard lower than Mumbai.

Rather deal with socialists that at least try to have the decorum of doing things for the public good versus capitalists that only care about themselves. You can of course reject both, but wouldn’t that just put you in the pessimistic anarchist camp?
