One possible reason for existence...

There are many possible reasons for existence…
I shall ponder one such reason…
that of ignorance…

We are born in ignorance… we know nothing…
and then we are ''educated" and by that “education”
we remove our “ignorance” but much of our “education”
is replacing ignorance with other ignorance…
we are fed the “holy scriptures” of what society/the state
needs… we are told that we must be “good citizens”
we must obey… for disobedience is the greatest crime of all…
hence practically the first story we learn in the west is the story
of Adam and Eve… disobey and get tossed out of Eden…

among the other nonsense we are “educated” with are the indoctrinations
of childhood, of how our country is the greatest ever, and how our god is
the greatest god ever and how our leaders are the greatest leaders ever…

And thus we are “educated”… and the point of becoming is to become
“uneducated” to reject the indoctrinations of our childhood.
to remove the nonsense we have been educated with…
That we are educated with nonsense and we have our ignorance
replaced by other ignorance…

Perhaps the goal of existence is simply to remove as much ignorance
as we possibly can…Not to say, our god is the greatest god of all,
and our country is the greatest country of all and not to say our leaders
are the greatest leaders ever…

but to acknowledge that some of our leaders have been pretty shitty,
can anyone say IQ45? and we can say that perhaps our country is not
number one, as chanters like to claim…or that our god is not the
greatest god ever… but to remove the blinders of “education”
and the ignorance we were taught as children… and adults…

what is the meaning of existence? it might just be removing some
of the ignorance we have been “educated” with… if we are good,
we may still not get to heaven… and I am bad, I may yet avoid hell…
for those beliefs, of heaven and hell are just more examples of ignorance…
we are “educated” with those beliefs because it will make us
“better” citizens… recall that the greatest punishment in
modern life is the punishment for disobedience…we are taught
as perhaps the “greatest” educational lesson, not to disobey…
to do what we are told…and our “education” as modern citizens,
comes from that lesson of obedience and disobedience…

and so, one possible path, or reason for existence is to
to overcome that lesson of obedience and disobedience…
Perhaps there is more to existence then simple obedience and
disobedience…

Hello Peter:

One thing , we are borne to parents some of whom instill obediance ,through direct and/ or with indirect methods of enforcing or reinforcing them.

And when we had learned ouf lessons, which are usually re-enforced by teachers, it becomes very difficult to shake off subsequent efforts to further
our obedience.

At least that has been my experience.
