One of my pet projects is the connection between the one/individual
and the whole/state/society… I spend much of my waking hours
trying to understand the relationship between the one and the state…
and there are several bricks in the wall in this…

We have first of all, and perhaps the most important aspect is
the environment… we as individuals, spend our lives reacting
to the environment… that is what we do, literally spend our lives
reacting to the environment around us… for different environments
require different responses… for example, we can imagine a man
living in say, 1870 in Britan, the Victorian period…in that particular
environment, one has to act in a particular way to fit in…
it was a fairly conservative age… but one has to recall that
this conservativism is in response to another environment,
the Napoleonic wars… which ended in 1815…and to
we recall that Europe had an epic revolutionary period in
1848 where there were European, throughout the entire
continent, there were many attempts in many countries,
to overthrow the political power of the monarchy system…
To know what one age is thinking or believing, we have to
understand what that age is responding to… and the revolutionary
attempt of 1848, brought the old regimes to dole out modest
progressive measures… but they weren’t done to show
the progressive colors of the ruling classes, the modest
political and economic advances were done in fear…
appease the lower classes enough to keep them from trying
to overthrow the ruling classes, as they tried in 1848…

every action we do or think about doing, is in response to some
environmental pressure that we face… and this is about
as axiom as we can get about both individuals and the state/society…
we respond to environmental pressures… our very actions today
are in response to some prior environmental pressures…
and if you don’t get this, there is no way in hell you can understand
the one/individual and the state/society or their interaction between
the two… to recap, we respond to changes in the environment by
making changes on our own or collectively, in reacting to the
environment we currently face… this is step one…

Step two: the question becomes, how do we respond to
changes in the environment? do we respond individually
or collectively, and how exactly are we to respond?
What methods do we use to respond…

Here lies the methods, we refer to them as isms and ideologies…
to various changes in the environment, we can react in a dozen
of different ways… conservatively, liberally, religious, scientific,
economic, social, politically, and philosophically… are all isms
and responses to the challenges of the environment…
the ism capitalism is one such response to the environment
and communism is another such response to the every
changing environment… religions are also a response to
the environment… Christianity and its history are simply
responses to the environment of the day…
unlike Greek gods, like Athena, capitalism isn’t born fully
grown out of the forehead of Zeus… it united aspects of
the state/society that had already existed…

Adam Smith connected up various aspects of the state and
society that had already existed and laid out these forms
and structures into a pattern… his book, ‘‘The Wealth of Nations’’
isn’t very original because all it does is create a unified pattern
that was already present… but that is what genius does,
it is this connection of patterns that already exists, but the genius
simply points out the pattern which no one had seen before…
genius is connecting already existing patterns into a foremat
that is both clear and understandable… did Marx create
communism out of his forehead like Zeus? Nope, the
idea of communism had been in the air for decades before
Marx ever wrote a word… but it wasn’t a unified pattern,
just a random mix of thoughts and beliefs that were
not yet turned into a collected pattern… that was the
genius of Marx… he turned a random series of thoughts
and beliefs into a comprehensive belief system… it is built
from various beliefs into one operating system…
and that is the nature of ism’s and ideologies… and is the
heart of systems such as science and physics… it turned
various facts and thoughts into a operating system…
Einstein for example, his genius was to turn the various
facts that he knew existed into one valid operating system,
we know it as ‘‘The Theory of Relativity’’
the various aspects of his theory had been around, in one
form or another, for decades… he managed to turn various
facts into a complete operating system about the world…
exactly as Marx did and as Adam Smith did…
and all of them did so in response to the environment and
pressures of that particular environment…

So, one of the ongoing reactions to the environment is still
going on today, even after 225 years, I take 1800 to be a
base years from which we can deduce much of the 21st
century…and that one particular response the environmental
pressures is the secularization of Europe during the 19th
century… a process still going on today…

this secularization is a response to the environmental
pressures of the day… this secularization has a history,
something people forget today…

To be blunt, the belief system of religions are no longer
applicable to the environment we face today… and it hasn’t
been useful in reacting to the environment in over a century…
there is no need to believe in a god because that is not
a useful response to the environment of today…
as we can information about how the world and the universe
works, it removes the actual need of religions and god…
for they existed to explain certain aspects of our world
and universe that wasn’t explainable in any other way…
as we can imagine, the people in the ancient world used
religions and god to explain aspects of the world, and those
points were unexplainable… Thunder and Lighting are two
examples of turning to god and religions to explain the
phenomena of Thunder and lighting… as we can now
explain thunder and lighting in scientific terms, we can
remove religious explanations to the questions of thunder
and lighting… it is an easy response to the questions
that disturb us, turn to god and religions… but today,
because of science, we need to turn less and less to
religious explanations to what we don’t know or understand…
Science provides us with a method to rationally explain
events, objects, people…This method allows us to
move away from religious explanations to the who, what,
how, when, where and why of existence…

So, bottom line is that people who hold onto religions and god,
are not adapting to the current environment that exists today…
an environment where we have no need for explanations
that involve god, religions, heaven or hell… we have other,
much more accurate explanations of the universe within
science, history, economics, geology, physics, biologogy,
and no explanation of the universe by theology or religion
is going to be as accurate or right, as science…

Any belief in god or religions is simply a rejection of
the validity of the modern world… as a method,
religions are a failure…hence the rise of the secularization
in the modern world…to explain the world in terms of religions
and god, is simply an explanation that depends on the whims
of god…and in fact, we can account for democracies
in terms of a method of escaping the whims of a monarch…
and mind you, this was part of the agenda of the Enlightenment…
to remove the whims of a monarch or god, into a much more
responsive method of answering the questions of people…
we turn from the whims of the monarch/god and we engage
with its opposite, and what is the opposite of the whims of
a monarch or god? Laws, rules… it is often said, that
America is a nation of the rule of law… notice, not
the whims of a monarch or god, but of rules and laws…
Once again, we see how we have in response to the
environment we create new methods and operating
systems… so, in response the whims of monarchs
and god, we have the modern state… we have in a
meaningful way, reduced the random whims of kings
and god…for an individual it is hard to exist in a universe
that depends on the random whims of a king or god…
for what is right and legal can change in an instant with
the monarch and god, changing his mind whenever it
suits them…and we can see this in the wildly random
whims of IQ45… I am sure he wants to rename America
into Trumpland… and that is the nature of monarchs
and wannabe dictators… we suffer under their wildly
changing day to day whims… much of the uncertainty
of modern-day America lies in the random whims of IQ45…
one whim and we are losing a war with Iran and another
whim will have us invading Greenland… Hence the need
for checks and balances of the law and government…
to avoid living in a world of whims and random urges…
we have organizations such as institutions like the Justice
Departments and the IRS to help us avoid the whims of
the dictators…in this avoidance of whims lies in the creation
of institutions like NATO and the U.N… in this lies
much of what we see today in our own operating systems,
a reaction to the environment we have today…
assuming America survives this attempt at creating a
dictatorship, we will enter a new age of very strict
laws and rules that will be an attempt to avoid any
new dictatorship from rising… that is how our reacting
to new environments happen… something happens and
we react to it… and every single isms/ideology was
an response to the environment as it was happening…
and we can use this as a template to understand how
human beings became the top of the food chain…
we were the most successful species at reacting to
the environment… that is why human beings are who we are…
because of all the species of planet Earth, we were the most
successful species at adaptations of all the animal species…
and our ability to adapt to survive, that is at the heart
of our success…and this is why methods of some isms
and ideologies are failures, because they are unable to
adapt to the everchanging environment we face, every single
day…and this is why the operating system of conservativism
is a failure… it is unable to change or adapt to the fast changing
world in which we live in… belief in god or religions is a failure
to adapt to the modern world… nothing simpler than that…
and that explains the success of operating systems, methods
like liberalism and progressivism has and will continue to succeed…
it is adaptable and changeable to ever new conditions…and that
my friends, is the key to the success of the human species…
being able to adapt and change… whereas operating systems
like religions are unable to change and adapt, leading to their
removal… as we saw in the 19th century when as the years
passed, it moved into secularism… it is a much more
successful path of moving forward into the future…

and so ends part 1…

Part 2:

what are operating systems? In our existence they are the ism’s
and ideologies that people hold… thus capitalism and communism
are operating systems…as is any religion, and political or economic
system, such as democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, socialism,
and even the most successful economic system in history,
yep, the million years long success story that is the hunter-gatherer
system… and the rise of the cities and agriculture which drove
the next operating system… for without agriculture there
cannot be a rise of the city… agriculture is the driving factor
for the creation of the city and the next format which is the
city/state…

let us be clear what we are talking about…

we have institutions, such as the Department of Justice
and the IRS and the military… from the viewpoint of those
institutions, say the Department of Justice, it doesn’t matter
what operating system we are using… from the viewpoint of the
Justice Department, it doesn’t matter if the operating system was
a democracy or a dictatorship or capitalism… the Justice department
will still function regardless of which operating system we use…
it is irrelevant to those institutions which operating system we have or
use…America will still have institutions regardless, if the operating
systems is a democracy or a dictatorship…it doesn’t matter…

so, the real question becomes this, which operating systems
should we be using? We have several economic systems to
choose from and we have another several political systems
that we can choose… and we can mix and match within
the political systems and its economic system we use…
in other words, we can have political system of democracy
and a different economic system, say communism…

As I have written before, communism is not, NOT, a
political system… it is an economic system… I note
that Marx was and considered himself to be an economist,
and if one reads his last book, Das Capital, which I have read,
(boring as sin) but the economic aspect of the book was
its primary emphasis… not the political aspect…
and this is important… don’t think Marx was a political
theorist, he wasn’t… it was the Russian group, such as
Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky that turned communism
from it economic base, to becoming a political system…
hence the failure of the Soviet Union…it was purely
a structural failure…for the allege communism of the
Soviet Union was in reality a dictatorship… not a
a communist state at all… turning an economic system
into a political system is a clear path of failure, as the
Soviet Union was the example…

But let us now explore the two primary economic systems
of the last 200 years… capitalism and communism…

Outwardly, they are completely at odds, but the fact is that the
two systems are in fact, copies of each other… the
operating system of both is exactly the same…
and let us explore that…

in both capitalism and communism, the one, the individual
is supposed to give up everything, including one’s life, to
promote and advance the system in question…
the one is irrelevant in both… the only good worth pursuing
is the operating system itself… so, the only value worth pursuing
in capitalism is wealth… and the one/individual is clearly
expendable in capitalism… how many times was I threaten
with being fired because I was, expendable… and I was told
numerous times exactly how I was expendable… and that is
a key salient point of capitalism, everyone is expendable in
the pursuit of profits…the goal is not the one/the individual
but the pursuit of profits, which is the means the operating
system of capitalism works…if there are no profits, there is
no capitalism… simply as that… which is why individuals
are expendable in capitalism… the goal is profits, not individuals
health or welfare… the magical goal of business is to
build an entire business without any workers to
create greater and even greater profits, whereas the single
biggest cost in business is clearly the workers and their benefits,
and we see this in the rise of AI… someone to do the work without
paying workers… (and we both know that this will end very, very
badly for everyone involved)

And now we look at the other economic system, communism…
the goal is to have the state own the means of production
and all our needs are met through the state returning the
profits from the businesses they own, back to the workers…
and within communism we have the exact same example
of capitalism whereas the one/the individual is expendable…
the only that matters in communism is the state, everything else
is conditional, expendable to the needs of the state…
the two systems end up at the exact same place, where
the one/the individual is expendable to the needs of the
greater interest… which in capitalism is profits and in
communism, the state… but both require, in fact demand,
that the worker, the one devotes their entire life to that
operating system, be it capitalism or be it communism…
the end result is still the same… the worker, the one
actually doing the work is expendable… because anyone
can be brought in to do that job… most jobs are interchangeable,
equivalent… the skill set might be different in each job, but
frankly, outside of the professions, almost anyone can do
any job out there… one might say, what about…
for example, that one the most impressive houses
in Vienna, is a house designed not by an architect, but
a philosopher… Haus Wittgenstein… and he also
designed and built a small cabin in Norway…
one person, with a bit of training, can do virtually any job
out there… which is why people are expendable…

Now in communism, we don’t have the same pursuit of profits
that we have in capitalism, but people are also expendable in
communism… because the goal of communism, the creation
of the worker state, requires people to become expendable in
search of that final, ultimate goal…
the worker state trumps any personal individual goal, just
as the pursuit of profits, trumps any personal individual goal…
the two operating systems are carbon copies of each other…
and the end result lies in the negation of human beings and
their values… which I have defined as ‘‘Nihilism’’’
both communism and capitalism are in fact, because
of their negation of human beings and their values, both
operating systems are in fact, nihilism…

any defense of either/both systems comes down to the fact
that both systems are nihilistic in nature… we cannot escape
this conclusion…

and if those two operating systems are equal, nihilistic,
then what operating system can we find that is not, NOT
nihilistic in nature?

and we haven’t even brought up the equal point that
neither system brings us any ethical or moral benefits to
the table… for in both capitalism and communism, ethical
and moral concerns are not on the table… it is as if ethical
and morals concerns are not a thing, in either capitalism
or in communism… just another brick in the wall which is why we
need to rethink, reevaluate our operating systems as
we move forward into the future… if capitalism is
nihilistic and communism is equally nihilistic, then
now what?

The void of nihilism is not a true void as a raw pain occurs and a raw pain is not a true void…as pain is present.

Nihilism reveals itself as self-contradicting at the experiential level. It reveals itself as not the end or foundation of things as the existential suffering present within it is not nothingness.

This is an absolutely magnificent topic for one single reason:
It perfectly demonstrates how human beings refuse to engage with the idea of viewing their own species as it should be, simply as another living organism, and thus explain behavior patterns the same way we do with LITERALLY ALL OTHER LIFE on planet earth.

And its absolutely comical cause if people did simply view homo sapiens as just yet another living organism and species of animal, nearly everything we do would make perfect sense in that context.

Instead of this, of doing the obvious, we invent bullshit standards, morals and ideologies by which we try to orient and view humanity. In a way its so amazing absurd that its almost fascinating.

It’s an interesting paradox of Darwinists. Unfailingly you’ll hear them talk about “what makes humans different from other animals.” Humans are other animals.

Exactly. And what makes this both comical and frustrating is that the answers come so easily if you simply view human beings as other animals. Nature is FILLED with things that act, reason, react, behave, think, process, the same way we do.

But no. We are “speshul”. Mommy’s little skydaddy born chosen ones. We need to create our own rule set by which we try to judge ourselves. Even if it becomes both comical and nonsensical.

I think it has to do with language. Language is formed as an interanimalistic, external process. It is alien in our minds, it suggests an alien prescence, something apart from our own regular animal experience. Though it is animal, it is not the product of a single animal’s instinct, it is a thing extracted from certain group dynamics, it filters and sets and becomes a thing that is not directly relateable. Since much of its component is hierarchical, it also induces the idea that there is a “higher,” in the hierarchical sense, thing that is apart from what feels like nature, from what is purely a product of personal instinct, and is also “above,” (special). The hidden boss.

As far as operating systems go, the question becomes, which
of the many possibilities should we engage with and why that
operating system and not another?

we have both political operating systems, democracy, dictatorship,
monarchy to name a few political systems, and we have capitalism,
communism, feudal system as possible economic choices…
we can, as I have mentioned, mix and match the economic
systems with the political systems… we can in fact have a democracy
as a political system and communism as an economic system, or
we can have a dictatorship as a political system and capitalism
as its economic system… of course, some systems work better
with each other than other systems, but we can in fact, mix
and match the political systems with the economic systems…

and some systems due to where we are historically, won’t really
work at all, the longest lasting economic system ever created,
hunter-gatherer, is not really an option today… and the feudal system
isn’t much of a choice today either… but it’s there…

So, given our realistic choices, which political system makes
sense and which economic system makes sense? again,
we can mix and match, so which systems would you take,
economically and which system politically, and of course,
most importantly, why those choices?

Let us take a look at another operating system…
Liberalism…I seem to be one of the few around here
who actually supports liberalism… the anti-liberal crowd
however, never actually tells us what they do support instead
of Liberalism… I have asked many times, if not liberalism,
then what? And not surprisingly enough, no one ever answer…
and I wonder why that is? If you are against something, then
you have to do two things, one, tell us why you are against
something and two, what do you suggest to replace that ism
you are against…and the anti-liberal crowd hasn’t done
either thing… we can attribute that failure to, perhaps a
lack of imagination or a lack of intelligence… or simply
laziness in actually finding something to be positive, instead
of the anti-liberal crowd immense laziness…

As no one has, as yet, offered up a direction opposed to liberalism,
I shall offer up a positive approach too liberalism and to its opposite,
whatever the hell that is…

The bottom line in liberalism is its opposition to tradition…
and the root of liberalism comes from my favorite period
in history, the Enlightenment… and the connection?
in that liberalism is not about being part of tradition, but
about one person practicing their own values and beliefs…
Think of Luther…the values he proposed, were values
that had been in the air for centuries… Jan Hus for example
was born in 1369, was burned at the stake in 1415…
he was a Luther before Luther… (exactly, the same way that
Darwin ideas of evolution were in the air for decades before he wrote
the ‘‘The Origin of Species’’)

So, what exactly are the ‘‘liberal values’’ That all human beings
are created equal, that diversity is the best path into the future,
again, we don’t need to follow tradition to know what is best for us,
that the values one/the individual holds are as valuable as the values
held by a state or society, that the future is just as, if not more
important than the past, or liberal values said another way, that
the one/the individual values are just as important as any values
or beliefs that are held by the state/society…
we can state this, in this way:

‘‘Crazy how the Christian idea of heaven is an untouched paradise,
enough food for everyone, classless, moneyless, stateless,
a utopia of peace, unity and happiness… but right here on Earth,
they absolutely don’t want it because it’s too WOKE’’

That kinda sums up where we are at… liberal values
are really the idea of heaven on Earth, and yet, conservatives
and others around here hate this idea…and the reasons they
offer us to escape this is ideas like people are inherently bad/evil,
and it is not practical… people will become ‘‘lazy’’ and ‘‘worthless’’
of course, never offering us any evidence of this…
in this is another example of the difference between liberal values
and conservative values… conservative values have to be taken
on faith…

So, the concept of liberalism stems from the religious… basically
Luther…

‘‘Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise, God help me’’…

if there was one liberal statement, this is it…
this statement of having one own’s belief, as being the standard
for our beliefs is the very cornerstone of liberalism…
We cannot do otherwise…
and if the cornerstone of belief is having one’s own values being
the key value, then what does the opposition to liberalism actually
mean? It is a statement that we are not and cannot hold
beliefs and values that are opposed to the ‘‘community standards’’
to be oppose to communal values is the liberal value…
in other words, those who oppose liberalism also demand that
we must, MUST hold to communal standards… in other words,
the values and beliefs we can hold are values already sanctioned
by the state/society… we must be in conformity to the value
and beliefs of the state… that is exactly what it means to
be opposed to liberalism…only state/society values and beliefs
can be held… thus the opposition to such thinkers as Luther,
Galileo, Newton, Nietzsche… opposition to liberalism is
holding to whatever standards and values the state/society
holds…

So, let us explore this idea a bit further…
MR. A, for example holds to both dictatorship and against voting, and
communism, ideas that are not part of the community
standards, and thus, by definition, he is practicing liberalism…
he opposes the community values/standards… that by definition
is liberalism…he is holding to his own values and beliefs,
exactly like Luther… if MR. A, held to values and beliefs also
held by the community, he would be a conservative…but
why doesn’t MR. A see this? Because he has never given
3 seconds of thought to his values and beliefs… he feels it,
but he hasn’t given any thought, rational, logically thought
as to why he believes in what he believes…
MR. A IS A LIBERAL, he has just never thought about it before…

What exactly do conservative belief in? that the values
and beliefs of the past should guide us today… that
we shouldn’t ever investigate our values and their sources,
and MR. A is a conservative in this respect, he has never
actually, investigated what it means to be a communist, or
even what it means to exist within a dictatorship…
He doesn’t realize that within both situations, he would
be one of the first to be tossed into a concentration camp…
for within both, liberals are hated because they hold to values
and beliefs that are not community standards, as dictated by
the dictator or the state… to hold onto one belief’s as being
the standard is liberal… exactly as Luther was a Liberal…
he, Luther, just wouldn’t have understood that given his
time in history…but today, today we can examine that and
know that Luther was a liberal because his private values and beliefs
are as worthy as the community values and beliefs…with
equal validity… to hold that my own values and believes
are equal worth to the state/society is a liberal one…

Thus, every great thinker that was, was opposed to the
traditional values and beliefs of their state/society…
and Kropotkin, which great thinker was opposed to his State/
society? why everyone of them… From Socrates to Jesus
to Luther and as mentioned Galileo on down…for it is
the opposition to the community values and beliefs that is
what makes a great thinker…

if one conforms, then one is a conservative, if one opposes
the current values, then one is a liberal…every single
innovation ever created, was opposed to the standard
values and beliefs of that state/society… every one of the
advances to the state/society has come about because
of the opposition to the current values and standards that
make up a society/state… every single time…

and that is the value we must look at, to oppose liberalism
is to hold onto the current values and beliefs of the state
and society around you…because holding onto values
that are not society/state approved, is liberalism…
and many people around here, don’t realize it, but they
are in fact liberals… because they hold onto their own
private and personal values/beliefs as equal to the state/
society around them… and that is the heart of liberalism…

IQ45 recently said,

‘‘too many non-working holidays in America.
The workers don’t want it either! Soon we’ll end
up having a holiday for every once working day of the year.
It must change if we are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT
AGAIN’’

the capitalistic plea that people aren’t working long enough or
hard enough… according to IQ45, ALL Americans should
be working 24/7/365… but that feeds into the real American
religion… which is capitalism and our fervent prayers for
profits and money… that is the true American religion…
to oppose money and profits is clearly about as un-American
as one can get… the claim is that America is a secular society/state
and yet, this ongoing prayers to money and profits show us that
we are still very religious about money and work and profits…
it is our religion… nothing more, nothing less…
we have simply moved our devotion from god and heaven
to money and profits…and therein lies the real hated of communism
and Marx… it undermines the religious argument of our devotion
to cash and all that cash brings us…
people will hurt and murder and maim others for their cash,
if that is not a religious devotion, I don’t know what is…

Every single boss I ever had, has threatened me with being
fired because I wasn’t as devoted to profits as they were…
every single boss has told me how expendable I was, in
the pursuit of the only goal that matter, the pursuit of profits…
money before people… and if people are as expendable
as the bosses claimed, then money/profits is the goal
and something worth praying to…

I am certainly not a Luther… but Marx, Marx is closer
to being a Luther than I’ll ever be… ‘‘Here I stand,
I cannot do otherwise’’ is just as true about Marx as it
is about Luther… and thus we have an answer to why
Marx is hated… not because of the operating system of
communism, but because he opposed the one true faith
we have in money/profits… and every person called
a communist today, and it’s just about everyone who is a liberal,
it is because they aren’t 100% in favor of money/profits…
The faith in profits and money must be 100% and its faith
is required by every single ‘‘red-blooded American’’…

But if one takes a clear look at profits, it is clear that
it is only going to a fairly small number of people…
the top billionaires have increased their wealth by 121%
over the last 10 years… that the richest 1% owns about
43% of all, ALL GLOBAL ASSETS… And how does
that benefit the other 99%? No one notices or cares…
in the US, the top 1% owns about 31.7% of the total national
wealth… and that is the real beneficiaries of our work…not
us, but the wealthy… , if we work 24/7/365, as IQ45 suggests,
it isn’t us who benefits but the 1%… most of us work our whole
lives and wind up with virtually nothing… and that is
the point of capitalism… to make sure all we work for
is sent to the ultra-wealthy, and we get, if we are lucky,
peanuts… I worked for almost 50 years, and I have virtually
nothing to show for it… and when you come to retirement
after 50 years of work, you too shall have virtually nothing to
show for it, as our work, 50 years worth, has been stolen
by the 1%… and where is the ‘‘Justice’’ in that? For justice
to matter, it must be equal in its application… and economically,
we are not treated equally… and this is why we are failing as
a nation… because the vast amount of wealth is stolen by
the 1%… and how does that create a better, more equal society,
state? spoiler alert, it doesn’t…

Now one might say, but Kropotkin, you are wrong…
Ok, great, show me, exactly how I am wrong?
