Opposite worlds; what would the opposite to this world be?
edit; rule [?] = if here, then not there, if there, then not here.
If in all infinity there were an opposite world to this one, what would it be like? This doesn’t have to be a heaven or an alternate universe, I prefer to explore the idea purely upon its own basis and see what happens. The opposite of this world may be something that is just completely different to universes and heavens.
As above so ‘not’ below.
In this world one person can take dominion over another, either through crime or by the law.
In an opposite of this world no one can.
Question; must this world be as it is that the other is how it is?
This world is physical
The other would be? What is the opposite of energy?
This world is material and has life.
Opposite would be; is life has material.
This world has male and female.
Opposite would have the union [not a hermaphrodite] of the two when joined as one.
Question; is the opposite of opposites a union? For example, when male and female attain union [orgasm] in this world, there is a moment of bliss when one world meets another.
Ok, can you think of some other examples of opposites to this world, remembering that opposites which exist in the world already do not count? So; male and female or + & - are opposites in this world, so what is the opposite of polarity. Thence the other world can never have opposites.
So everything happens and has happened in an instance disappears in a puff of smoke.
I know what you mean about timelessness, but would everything take place in it ~ kinda like a frozen moment? Or are you hinting at a Buddhist nirvana?
Its an interesting concept, of having all things present, I wonder how that could be achieved though? I would think it would have a kind of time, perhaps that is not an instant nor linear.
if we use the rule; if here not there, it makes it very interesting if not bewildering.
Yes maybe Nirvana like. I believe in Hinduism men (and only men) achieve timeless Nirvana by breaking the cycle of reincarnation in which the gods and all other creatures are trapped.
I often think that if there is a secret to happiness it must be living in the present…
Then we apply the rule? = if here, then not there, if there, then not here. When we die we would be there right, so we automatically break the cycle of reincarnation.
bliss may be in the present, is the present the opposite to here?
It’s at death that the cycle is broken. first its necessary to become a sahdu or holy man , so if the rule is applied then the - cycle can only be broken in life (not death) and the nirvana becomes available without death. Here and Now
