Overrated, Underrated or Neutral

New Game:

We are going to play the Overrated, Underrated game. I think I just game up with this game, but with billions of people on Earth it is hard to come up with something wholly original, so maybe I didn’t.

Anyway, one poster names a person, place, thing, movie, song, historical event, whatever, then the next poster states whether they think the subject is overrated, underrated, or neither and then follows up with another subject.

Anyway, if one wants to, one can provide feedback as to why something is overrated or underrated.

I figure if something leads to a debate or a discussion (say if there are three or more posts on the same subject) then it would be a good idea to create a new thread for the discussion. (Simply to keep the game easily navigable)

Under-rated - they make good tunes and videos, but I don’t really hear much about them…

Sport?

Overrated, I love almost all sports, but I think many guys watch them just because they think that is what guys are supposed to do. I try to discuss sports with guys that claim to be these colossal mega-fans and most of them can’t hang with me on the sports that I claim to be a colossal mega-fan of.

By the way, The Bravery are awesome, in my opinion.

Minimalism?

Overrated because if everyone was a minimalist it would destroy the economy starting with the consumer market.

Underrated because I think we would all live happier lives as minimalists as money would no longer be a major concern.

Overall, Neutral.

Neutral - as an art major, I can appreciate all forms of artistic expression, but that doesn’t mean that they are all good 8-[

Overrated, I have no use for them, though I can understand why others use them.

Of course, I am assuming you mean illegal drugs, I use such drugs as nicotine, alcohol and caffeine.

Under-rated - I think vitamin and mineral supplements still haven’t caught on with many people, but they’d benefit greatly from taking them…

Ceramic hair-straighteners? men use them just as much as women do, well, here they do…
