If in many years we develop technology so advanced that we can predict the thoughts that someone will have based on causal forces and the state of the universe, what would happen if someone conducted the experiment on themselves?
The machine, or whatever, would have to be so advanced that it would take into account the thoughts of others, and any physical changes to the universe entirely.
That would probably be an opportunity for the Observer Effect…
