Particles or matter are a trick play on our mind. The theory WSM (wave structure of matter) explains how the only thing that exist is some kind of vibration in space. This perturbation stimulates our sense to percieve .
Mass of ordinary matter (better than 99%) comes from the mass of protons and neutrons.
Protons and neutron are built up from quarks and gluons.
Quarks and gluons are massless. There is energy stored in the motion of the quarks, and energy in the color gluon fields that connect them.
There’s an article by Jonathan Schaffer called, “The Problem of Free Mass” that you might check out. Interesting stuff, and I think it might actually be pertinent to your question.
The mass of any nucleus is less than the sum of the separate masses of its protons and neutrons. In other words, sticking protons and neutrons together somehow causes some of their mass to vanish into thin air.
This has to do with Einstein’s equation E=mc2…
Einstein showed that mass and energy are really two different forms of the same thing; the “vanishing” mass of the protons and neutrons is simply converted to energy.
So you can produce energy by building nuclei.
That’s the idea behind fusion. The “binding energy” of a particular isotope is the amount of energy released at its creation; you can calculate it by finding the amount of mass that “disappears” and using Einstein’s equation. The binding energy is also the amount of energy you’d need to add to a nucleus to break it up into protons and neutrons again; the larger the binding energy, the more difficult that would be.
The only thing out there is somekind of vibration. Particles, matter, us, etc. are as a phantasm.
"Some physicists, still under the effect of the 600-year-old old myth, concluded that the point bits of matter were still there, even though quantum theory contains no notion of point particles, just because they insist that matter has to be made up of smaller and smaller matter.
Nevertheless, Schroedinger, deBroglie, Dirac, and Einstein, the founders of the quantum theory, preferred a wave structure of matter, and in the last decades researchers have experimentally validated their intuition."

There are many theories, a theory might be that there are no other dimensions where things get smaller and smaller, but rather they reach a fundamental size where existance is existance without a need to be different in any way.
Where “they” are “one”.
We/i may even be that one but still only see the complexe structures of combined point particles at the marco level.
As far as i know one point “being” the other point at the mirco level explains what i think i know would fit with today’s quantum research.
Not true photons are ‘massless’ but still effected by gravity.
A ‘massless’ particle is a particle with no rest mass. But you must understand that the words mass and energy are interchangable in relativistic physics so you could say a photon has a ‘mass’ due to its kinetic energy but this is just symantics. If by ‘mass’ we always mean ‘rest mass’ then photons( and other particles maybe) are massless.
Too avoid this confusion in particle physics we use what is known as natural units. This is where we take c = 1 and thus the equation E=mc^2 becomes E=m to we can just use units of energy for masses instead of kilograms. Instead of ‘rest mass’ we can just say ‘rest energy’.
That is basically what I say. That there is only one thing out there. Me, you, our thoughts, memories, dreams, etc. all come from there. This is where we are all connected.
At the ceasation of thought mystics say they reach nirvana, zen, oneness, brahman, satori, and the likes. And this I agree with.
Only one thing out there means only one mind is out there as well.
Mind being the energy of thought, then every organism that has thought would be you.
At the macro level it would be the individual we experience, but mind at the micro level might be experiencing all thought. Individual control of a collective phenomenon.
If we could bypass birth in a thought experiment by imagining if we were cut in two instead of being born, left you has your identity and right you has your identity, separate the halves for a few years and these halves would be as individual as you or i.
Birth:
The division of a bacterial cell into two daughter cells is an example of asexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction is not, however, limited to single-celled organisms. Most plants have the ability to reproduce asexually.
Sexual reproduction is a union that results in increasing genetic diversity of the offspring.
Asexual obviously evolved into the sexual over many years.
So if there is only one thing:
At the cessation of you, your individual’s control dies, you are born again but you were being born again while you were alive as every living thing, then even before life anywhere you existed as the energy that becomes life, that becomes mind.
The misnomer is mind. As it were if there is only one mind. is nothing like the mind as in our head. That mind is not overwhelmed by emotions, it has no false cognizince.
The Tolteca writings discribed a parasite. The food for the Parasite is the emotions that come from fear. This is what makes me me and you you
And if there is one mind; then the parasite has control of us.
I’m not saying we sould be completely homogeneous, as zombies. We can still have personalities.
And there is a static that happens in the neurons. The static give rise to our conscious. But as I’ve said before the neurons like all matter are waves (vibration) in space. Everthing comes from that perturbance in space.
From my understanding, a particle is actually just a single frame of a waveform, or a wave frozen in a single moment of time captured by what ever form of perceptual energy(i.e. - light) we reflect off of that wave.
There is actually no form of a truly massless particle (except maybe vacuum). Photons are often described as massless, although they truly have a mass. We just haven’t quantified it yet.
Fin666, could you recommend any good books on the subject?
Electricity can turn into light and back again, the structureless and massless, but not wieghtless when existing as part of a whole individual atom.
I think time is a constant, on a plain with bumps where time may rise and fall but still realitivety flat, like a table cloth - pull one end and the things on the table move in that direction; bumps and all.
