Perhaps another dream interpreation?

So i saw a recent dream interpretation request… I too recently experienced an interesting dream. If anyone would like to give a stab at interpreting this one, it’d be appreciated.

Dream:

So I was in my two bedroom apartment at nighttime (i live alone in it, with one empty bedroom, which I barely go into), and in my two bedroom apartment was one of my friends. I’ve known him since high school… not one of my closest friends, but fairly closer than usual in recent months. I asked him why he was here, and he said that he really needed to pee, so he let himself into the apartment to pee, but when I came in the apartment he hid and kept quiet because he was afraid to be caught. I told him that I understood, and he was embarrassed and in a hurry to leave. I asked him if he still needed to pee, so he did and then left.

I decided to go back into the empty room to see if anything else was hiding there - I walked in through the bathroom (not the entrance I normally use when I do go into the room). At this point the room appeared physically different than the the actual room, but I understood/felt it to be the second bedroom. This room was dark, all white walls (similar to the room now), but was elongated (lets say 30 feet longer than normal). I walked to the end of the room and there were closets where the window is supposed to be, but that didn’t strike me as unusual during the dream. I opened the first closet, and there was nothing inside. Then I turned 90 degrees to open the second closet. Behind the door was immediately another door (not like an additional room, but literally two doors that swing open in the same manner at the same place (practically touching) to get into the closet. The second door was much harder to open, but it opened after giving it a solid tug. I also noticed the door to be a bit more metallic/older than the first door… don’t really know how to describe it. Upon opening the closet, there was also nothing inside except an object hanging on the back of the door, which I couldn’t quite identify, but somehow it made sense as something usually there. At some point I approximated it to be an umbrella, and then it fell off the door and hit the ground (as i was still determining and verifying that it was an umbrella). I gave the object a closer look on the floor, and it lost form, looking something closer to an upside-down showercap. I didn’t give it any immediate meaning to the closets/what was/wasn’t in them.
,
I began to return backwards towards the bathroom, when I noticed a silhouette standing there. A silhouette is really a poor word for what I saw - the best word i have is “ghost”, but i think it was more ethereal than that. It was really more a disturbance of normal light patterns that had the shape of a person… but I understood it to be a ghost. This ghost had no identifying features other than the fact it was a little girl (i could more clearly see the outline of straight, female hair in the disturbance). Upon noticing the ghost, who was fairly close to me (about 4 feet or so), I immediately went up to it and embraced her, and she immediately went up to me to do the same… as if she needed a shoulder to cry on, and it was my job to be that shoulder. I felt fear about the fact a ghost was in the room, but that fear was ignored easily for some reason. As I hugged her, i became absorbed by her warmth (her arms went not only around me but through me, perhaps because I expected them to do so) I immediately asked “What’s wrong honey?”. She responded with “When Dad goes to work, he owes Jason to whittle his citizens”.

I immediately woke up - I didn’t feel afraid, but rather surprised and curious…and for lack of a better word… off.

Upon waking I rehearsed her words as much as could in my head (the word ‘owes’ might be ‘pays’ …i’m not sure) , and then began remembering the dream as far back as I could go… because it was just once of those dreams.

This is one of those dreams that I’ll remember until i die

Perhaps the act of posting it up might lead to you deciphering it yourself… it did with me, or simply hi-lighted things that I need to accept (or change).

Dreams are your brain on acetylcholine… .they come from the brain base or as MacLean describes it, from the reptillian brain. They indicate right and wrong as visceral. So, what in your life is causing your “animal” to react as it does?

This dream became reality recently… not verbatim, but there are damn sure a lot of coincidences.

[True story]

An old and infrequent friend of mine called me at an odd hour of the night, needing someone. From the conversation, I was worried about her alcohol consumption. She asked me to go to a funeral with her. Immediately. What choice did I really have? (I was worried). I met her in a graveyard in the early morning hours (2 AM? 3 AM?), and gave her a hug, and my jacket, as she wept for her loved one on the ground.

Later on that night, she was in my place (i was hoping for sex, but i really knew i was a shoulder to cry on, a friend to prevent loneliness), and before an night of drunken almost-sex, she decided to hide some behavior of hers in my empty bedroom. She went right into a closet where old clothes were hanging, picked out one of my shirts, put it on. Turns out it was a shirt I wore in a picture of the two us… like 8 years ago.

Get’s wierder.

Earlier that night, a few hours before she called me (maybe 5 or 6) prior, I was napping, and awoke to a fairly memorable dream - multiple objects were being shown in pairs of two. First was a drum. Two drum beats (with about two rests between). This was repeated a couple of times. Then two other items were shown (don’t remember what it was). Finally all i was seeing was nondescript black dots on a white background, that were rolling around in random directions, until two of them finally coalesced/synchronized and fell together as a pair.

While she slept on my arm and/or taking up the other 75% of the bed, I had other dreams that are a bit more difficult to remember - but she was very clearly the object of my affection.
